Fisher and Paykel Dishdrawer beeping constantly

Hello, my top dishdrawer just started beeping and flashing the screen every 2 seconds while it wasn't being used. It is set to rinse but the screen cycles between showing the rinse screen, and illuminating the whole panel. Inside the rinse light is on and then it goes off in time with the 2 second cycle. I tried resetting at the wall - no good, it just starts up again. Opening the dwawer doesn't stop it either, and the power button just cuts off the cycle as it starts but it still cycles. It is driving me batty! Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

There is no service manual in the enclosure however if someone has a copy I would greatly appreciate an emailed copy.

An update on the fault - The top drawer is doing the start up 4 rising beeps while showing the last used cycle on the LCD, and then shutting off. A second later it repeats the same thing again, and again, and again.... It won't take any button inputs and only turning the power off at the wall stops it. This all began while the dishwasher hadn't been used for many hours. The bottom drawer works fine.

    Help please!

Leave it unpluged to stop for now, the machine has detected a leak and is constantly running hte pumps within the drawers to try to remove any water.. problrm is the water detector is in bottom under the lower drawer and htere is no pump to remove that water ..canbge a fickle machine as far as leaks are concerned, but the easy reason is usually misloading of the drawer itself, was an item put in that was too tall , preventing the lid from coming down and sealing off drawer causing water to overflow down the side??? there should be(so logn as no previous repairmen have taken it) a tech/trubleshooing guide taped to teh back wall behind the lower drawer, which is easily removed by unlocking hte hinges on either side of the front of drawer, explained in your manual

Fisher and Paykel twin dishdrawer

there is water in the base setting off the flood sensor, you will need to remove the bottom draw and dry the water up with a towel (make sure the power is off and unplug it from the power point) then you will need to do a bit of testing to locate the cause of the leak, if your lucky the leak was caused by incorrect dish stacking or something too big in the draw

Fisher and Paykel dishdrawer, lid not retracting, no power.

By no power you may be implying there is no display etc and the swithces are not working. Most likely the controller of the top drawer has had it. The controller is mounted on the front of the drawer behind the door panel. Hope things are better than that.

Top drawer Fisher & Paykel Dishdrawer no lights lcd

Your original problem, F4, was the machine trying to tell you that the heater plate was not working. When you turned the drawer up-side down, you may have damaged the wiring harness. If you do get a technician, call a fisher paykel authorized servicer, not an independent, and make sure you tell him about the F4 problem. A new problem has been introduced by the cleaning procedure, and both issues will need to be resolved.
