I have a Hasbro Star Wars Lightsaber copyright 2002. # 71301. No instruction manual. I can't see how to get it open to replace batteries. Can someone help?
Need help on getting the unit open to replace batteries. Knob at bottom doesn't seem to turn and the red button only releases the green light saber blade.
I wonder if this unit even is supposed to light up ? The kids said it used to - they thought ?? But I don't see a on/off switch or button unless the red button that releases the collapsable green light saber causes the saber to light up. There is no "hatch"I wonder if this unit even is supposed to light up ? The kids said it used to - they thought ?? Hi! When I turn on the Lightsaber, the top of the blade doesn't work very well. But if I don't completely screw the blade, the saber works perfectly. I think it's a contact failure. Can you help me ? Thank you in advance for your help.Hi!

Re: I have a Hasbro Star Wars Lightsaber copyright 2002....
The knob at the bottom[ i don't think is supposed to turn. check the exterior unit for any type of hatch. then see if there is a screw that will open it. be careful i had one of these. i used it to harshly and it snapped in two
