This not good, the problem is in the video processing board that is part of the LCD panel, not cost effective for repair, cheaper to replace.

TV showing color pixels but no picture and no sound

Well at least you didn't pay for the TV. Your panel is defective. Cheaper to buy a TV than to fix.

Pixels going bad, what can I do?

you have a stuck sub pixel. There are some videos or DVD's that will flash random color patterns that "supposedly" will help fix stuck sub pixels. I've read where someone suggested taking a sharp pencil, plaving a soft tissue over the pencil point, and softly poke the sub pixel to get it unstick. I've never tried these so don't know if they will work for you.

Lcd tv with wrong color on one pixel

LCD screens occasionally have what are called "Stuck pixels". There is a tutorial in wikihow which might help you out here:

http://www.fixya.com/manuals/w153177-fix_stuck_pixel_lcd_monitor

Try that and see if it helps. Stuck pixels are actually a slighty common problem.

Sharp Actius AL27 pixel problems

From what you described, it seems as though your LCD panel is going bad or the inverter board is bad. Does it change colors if you were to reposition (tilt) the LCD back and forth in either direction?
