Ring time is too short on my Nokia 6300

Hi - Can anyone tell me if it is possible and how to extend the ring time on my Nokia 6300 - it rings only 3 times (first one hardly audible) which is very often too short a time to get the phone out of my pocket and answer a call. I've searched through all the set up up options, so far without success. Many thanks, Dave

    I need to increase the number of rings for an incoming call.



    No Profile gives the opportunity to change the number of rings.



    Three rings seems to be the fixed setting.

    Re my Huawei Ascend G510, and the account with Telstra (Australia). Can I extend the amount of time my phone rings before it drops out myself via some of the settings, or do I have to contact Telstra?

How do i extend the ringing time on a samsung c3050
Ring time is only based on the person calling you.
It rings until they hang up. There's no possible way to extend that unless you tell them to let it ring longer.

Can i extend ring time
No, the ring time is phone default. If you like standard ring tone and wish a longer time, just use your favorite long song as your ring default.

Short ring tone
You can change the ringing type from "ring once" to "ringing". (Settings>>Profiles>>General>>Ringing Type)

or

you can choose a ringing tone with a longer duration.

My Nokia 6300 only rings twice maybe 3 times therefore I have to bear the cost of always ringing the person back as I can't get to it in time
Type in *#002# . It will deactivate all call forwarding and phone will ring until caller hangs up. The code works on any GSM network only.

Nokia 6300 not loud enough
Hi.This problem may occur when the file is compressed or converted.Like if you compress a file from 20MB to 5MB, its quality gets degraded n ultimately sounds bad.
Other remedy may be to try using the same file in some other format.And just see the difference.
Please keep updated about this.

Nokia 6300 ring once problem
OK follwo me!!

Menu/Setting/Profiles/General/personalise/highlight ringing to switch it to Ring Once

then press back back and activate the general mode the th red call button

enjoy it!!

Lengthen my ring time
hello you need to go into your settings then click on divert, it will say your settings are on divert:if unavailable thats why your phone call cuts off if you havent answerd it in a certain amount of time. So just turn divert off completely and your fone will ring longer
