A firmware update for your model addresses the printhead problem you're currently experiencing. Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark S300 Series Firmware Update. If more than one download is listed for your model, choose the first download in the list. If it is the wrong firmware level, an error message will tell you which firmware level is correct. Should the error continue to display on the printer screen, it could be that the printhead itself is faulty. If that is the case, I highly recommend to contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.
Testimonial: "Chose YES - but it didn't really address my question. It DID lead me to discovering the problem with the printhead, but NOT ho to center it."
See the manufacturer's web-site: http://support.lexmark.com
and enter the model-number, and do the search.
You should find "trouble-shooting guides" and "manuals" for the specific model, as downloadable PDF files.

Remove All Cartridges. Do whatever is necessary to remove the individual ink cartridges from your printer. In most cases this will be opening the lid of your printer and waiting for the cartridge cradle to move into the correct position.
Remove the Printhead. This is easily achieved in most printers by simply lifting the orange/gray locking lever on the side of the cartridge cradle and then gently lifting the printhead from the printer.
Reinstall the Printhead. Gently put the printhead back into your Canon Pixma printer and lock it into position firmly.
Reinstall All Cartridges. Place all of the cartridges back into the printer and close any open doors. This makes sure that your printer is actively examining the reinstalled cartridges and printhead.
Unplug the Printer. Physically remove your printers plug from the wall and leave it unplugged for 5+ minutes. This allows the printhead to cool and all residual electricity to leave the printer.
Plug the Printer Back.
Do a Nozzle Check or Cleaning Cycle. The B200 error does not tend to occur until your printer actively tries to use the printhead. As such I recommend performing one of these processes in an attempt to confirm the correct cartridge has been replaced.
Steps for 2 Cartridge Printers
Turn the Printer off. When your printer is in this error state it will not let the cartridge cradle within the printer move. However resetting the printer should clear the error message temporarily allowing us to troubleshoot further.
Turn the Printer Back on Again.
Remove the Problem Cartridge. Whilst the Canon Pixma error messages do not tend to specify which cartridge is causing the problem, you should be able to have a rough idea based upon which cartridge was last replaced.
Install a Replacement Cartridge. As the printhead is part of the cartridge, sadly there is no way to stop the B200 error without replacing the cartridge. I would recommend either installing a new cartridge or a previously used cartridge that you know to be functional.
Do a Nozzle Check or Cleaning Cycle. The B200 error does not tend to occur until your printer actively tries to use the printhead. As such I recommend performing one of these processes in an attempt to confirm the correct cartridge has been replaced.
If Necessary Replace the Other Cartridge. If the error persists with the new cartridge, it may be that the other cartridge has developed a fault and is the cause of the B200 support code. If at this point the error remians I can only recommend replacing the other cartridge.

Gather the following materials:
Dry, soft, lint-free cleaning cloths (coffee filters and eyeglass-cleaning cloths work well)
Paper towels or clean sheets of paper

Error 6C10 appears on certain Canon printers. It is a "valve cam sensor error". Here are some things to try to fix it:
Solution 1:
Move the printhead to the center.
Disconnect the printer and check on the right: is the purge unit ok? Is there a paper jam or piece of paper stuck in it?
Solution 2:
Do a reset of the printer by performing the following:
Turn the printer Power ON
Hold down the "Resume" button (triangle in a circle) for 15 to 20 seconds.
Solution 3:
Power off the printer.
Open the door.
Power on.
When the cartridge is in the center, close the door.
Solution 4:
Open the lid and allow the ink cartridge carrier to center itself.
Looking to the right, you will see a row of white rollers behind the carrier.
At the end of the rollers there is a small, clear piece of plastic that sticks up. Take a small piece of a paper towel and wipe all of the ink off this piece of plastic. When that is clean move on to the ink pad.
About 1 inch, towards the front of the printer from that piece of plastic, is a small square, about 1/2 inch per side, that is a small foam pad. This is where the excess ink is collected.
Take a piece of paper towel and press into the foam. Do this until the paper towel is no longer collecting ink. Close the lid, turn off the printer then turn it back on.
Remove case and look for the micro switch that is being pressed by one of the purge unit cams. Clean the switch and the cams. If the problem does not clear, replace the micro switch.
Remove the right cover one screw in front and 1 in back, clean and apply a little vaseline to the white rails that lift the caps up to the printhead. The error comes when it's too hard to push and lift this assembly.
How to reseat the print head on Dell Photo P703w All-In-One Printer
1. Disconnect the AC power from the printer
2. Lift up on the print head from the lower left corner
3. Gently pull the ribbon cable to move the carrier to the center
Note if the carrier is stuck under the lid and will not move with gentle pressure, then you may need to plug the printer back in before gently pulling the cable.
You should now be able to see the carrier at the top opening of the printer
4. Next remove the ink cartridges
5. Now press down on the center of the print head. You will want to press firmly until you hear an audible click sound.
6. Next test the assembly by trying to lift up on the printhead. If it lifts up, repeat step 5.
If the printhead does not lift up try pushing the carrier to the right.
7. Close the top lid and plug back in AC power
8. Turn the printer on and check to see if the paper jam error is gone.
You open the lid and wait for the carriage to come tothe center, remove all inks, lift the gray lever straight up and tilt the printhead forward from the top and lift straight out. The new one goes in bottom first and then you tilt back the top, lower the lever again and install the inks.
It's likely that your printheads have just been knocked about a bit when you cleared the jam and all you need to do is to remove and then reseat them again properly...
Try this:
Open the main printer lid (not the scanner) :-)
wait for the printer LED to show the message about replacing printheads
Press and hold the OK button for 5+ seconds.
Wait for the printheads to move into the replacement position and wait 5 seconds more to be sure the printer isn't messing with you as sometimes it likes to move a bit more before it settles.
Lift the blue lid clear
Remove the printheads one at a time and check for any ink smear on the back part where a circuit board sits... This may need some gentle cleaning with a cotton bud
Check the contact circuit board in the actual printhead carriage (the bit where the printheads actually sit normally) and clean these with a cotton bud if these have become soiled
Replace the printheads in the correct slots and carefully push them into position
Close the blue lid and then close the printer lid
If the printheads are ok you should find that this will solve the problem and re-establish connection with the printer, cancelling the error. If not, it's possible the printhead is damaged but I'd give HP support a call first and request a replacement if you can (check the warranty on the printhead - they have this printed on them).
Turn printer on
Raise scanner lid (grey KODAK lid)
Watch print cartridges automatically center and stop
Remove each cartridge (pinch the lower lip to upper)
Put index finger on printhead 1/2 inch above bullseye - on underside of upper bar - below the 1/2" slot in printhead
Find 1/2" "button" and push firmly; printhead snaps loose
Tip forward and lift printhead out
