Hello oyam26,
For any paper mismatch issue, first thing you do is try to set the paper type to plain. This will fix the issue in most of the cases.

When I go to print I get message load mpf 024-969

This error typically means that the Size of paper defined in the print job being sent from the application does not match the size of the paper the printer has set for the MPF. (in this printer, MPF = Manual Feed)
For example: If you send a Letter size job to the printer from, lets say MS-Word, but the printer currently has Legal size paper assigned in the MPF, this error will result.

Paper size won't print

First customize the paper size in the Page Setup. Secondly when you send command for print, change the paper size to custom size from the Printer Properties and click print. On the other hand, you can select the paper size from the printer's menu itself after sending the print command. Please make sure that the right driver of the printer is installed on your computer.

Hope it will help and fix your problem.

Printer issues

If you are using Glossy paper, when you go to print make sure to go into the printer Properties from the Print dialog box and select Glossy paper in the type. This will put the printer into it's highest print quality mode.

So from most windows applications, it would be :-
CTRL-P (to print with dialog box for changes)
Click on Properties
Select a Media type of glossy photo paper
Select standard or high print quality.

p.s. you may need to experiment which if the media types gives you best quality for the paper your using, unless it's Canon paper and then just match it up.
