Putting paper into the calculator. It seems like it is going backward. Do you have a picture as to how this works?

Calculator
what am I doing wrong I can`t get the paper to feed through. It just goes down like it was going to come around and then stops. It seems like the roller is going the wrong way. Could this be a possibility? I have a Older sharp EL1197G11. Would appreciate hearing from you. Thank You Lucile [email protected]

I have the same problem, the paper won't go in far enough for the wheels to grab hold of it. It seems like the little rubber piece is keeping it from feeding through. I have a Unisonic XL1149A. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

SOURCE: Where do I feed my paper into the Sharp El-1801P calculator

Hello, my name is Curtis, I am a Sharp Customer Servicer Rep. Normally the calculator would have a thin slot on the back, where you would feed the paper through, then once you press the paper in till it hits an inner wall, you would press the feed key which is on the upper left side of the calculator. If there are any problems doing this please call our technical support line at 1-800-237-4277, I am very glad to hear you like the calculator though!!!

Inverted and Backwards figures on screen

I belkieve these calculators have a reversed mode. Refer to your owners manual. If the calculator has a reset button that you poke with a paper clip try that. Else remove battery for 10 minutes after charging it and try resetting that way when putting battery back in.

How do I thread the paper tape to the machine

Hello, my name is Curtis, and I am a Sharp Customer Service Rep. What you will want to do is on the back of the calculator there should be a thin horizontal slot that you would feed the paper through, it will only feed so far before it hits a wall on the inside, make sure the calculator is turned on and press the feed key in the upper left side of the calculator, it should take up the paper, if not then give us a call at 1-800-237-4277 or 1-800-BE-SHARP. Hope everything works out.

Loading paper

Hi, I had the same problem...but I fixed it. Here's how: At the very back of the calculater under the paper roller there is a very thin horizontal slot. Insert the tip of the paper roll into the slot, then press the paper advance button located on the top left hand sidw of the calculator until you see the paper. Guide the paper through the top slot and voila.

Cannot Laod the paper

1. The end of the paper roll can be cut on either a straight-edge or angled slant. 2. Remove the top cover of the calculator. 3. Insert the paper into the narrow back slit on the back of the calculator so that it feeds under the black plastic plate. The slit is located on the outside of calculator. 4. Use the Paper FEED button to advance the paper up. 5. Replace the cover and feed the paper through the cover opening. Hope this helps. Slit for paper is not immediately obvious, so don't put yourself down.
