Monitor OSD Problem

The monitor OSD pops-up every time the computer boots. It's a 15" CRT. Video Card is nVidia GeForce 4 MX 440 AGP8X 128Mb. It started when I downloaded the new driver from the nVidia site and installed it. When I restarted the computer the OSD popped-up and the resolution was very low. I decided to uninstall the new driver and the resolution and display went back to normal, but every time I restart my computer, the monitor OSD keeps on popping-up.

test old monitor on other good PC, to see if monitor is bad
and see if the monitors OSD button is dead if is the monitor is dead.
power on mon, under15seconds hit menu and OSD must pop up.

How do i find a right driver for my nvidia geforce4 440 with AGP8X

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index5.aspx?lang=en-us

Go to the above site for Nvidia drivers. In the first dropdown menu it should be Geforce, which is default. In the next drop downs, select your Geforce MX card and the operating system you are using.

Is my Motherboard compatible?

Try to find out what the AGP voltage is on the motherboard.
Some graphics cards use 1.5 volts and some use 3.
If it's a 1.5 volt AGP slot and you plug a 3 volt graphics card in, it either wont work or you could permanantly damage both card and motherboard.

Nvidia fx 5200

The only time that this can happen is if the driver is not installed correctly, as on install you are normally asked if you want to activate support for dual monitors, so if you havent already, uninstall the card driver, restart and install driver again from the cd or from the NVIDIA website. http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html If you have already tried this my apologies.
