YPK3 Deleting and adding songs problem

I purchased a YPK3 MP3 player and when i tried to transfer music from my cd onto the player , it constantly came up with a message saying " Turn off your media player" . I was like , " What!?" . I didnt have my media player on .

when i contacted Samsungs they where extremely unhelpful and blamed it on a software prob with my pc even though the pc is brand new

can u advise?

How to get songs back in the coby mp3?

Hello,

On the MP610 you could use either Windows Media Player 11 or Coby Media Manager for transfers of songs.

Next steps are important for adding files onto the player:
1. The player should be detected in the software for transfers, when connecting the USB cable.
2. Setup your library in the software (Add to library): There has to be a list of folders in the software manager, where your music is located on the computer.
3. Create a playlist in the software: make a list of songs, you want to transfer onto your player
4. Sync the playlist onto the player.

When needing more help, just add text in this reply.

Mp3 samsung ypk3

You would have recieved a CD along with the Phone. You need to install the software first and connect it via the data cable and then transfer the music.

Not playing songs/ transferring to MP3 player on Rhapsody.

You probably have to redownload the songs again. Forget about the pictures, this player is pretty buggy, it's not worth it.

Adding Songs from CDs onto my MP3 Player

If you're using Windows, then use Windows Media player to rip your music into WMA. If you don't want to do that, use CDdex to rip your music from CD to MP3. The problem probably lies in whatever program your using to rip your music. To your player. http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/

Transfering albums onto Samsung YPK3 PLAYER

Alphabetical order only - edit the id3 tags to change the song name alphabetically - that is the only way to get it in the order you want.

RCA Pearl

OK, I use i Tunes to buy music also. What I do is Load them onto a RW-CD and then transfer them over to Windows Player. You can then re-use the cd to do it again when you buy more songs. As far as adding to yoursongs, when you plug it in, it shows ho much memory is left. As long as you have some empty space, just drag songs over to the window and sync. It will not erase your songs, but add to them.

Unable to play new songs added to MP3 player

Wal mart downloads are notorious for not working with subscription devices (i.e. - devices that use rhapsody, or yahoo.).

You have 2 options;

 1) dont use any music from wal-mart

 2) burn the music to a cd, the re-rip them to your PC, thusly removing any copy protection and then re-transfer them to your device.

Best of Luck.
