You have lost half of the circuit in the breaker, the lights work on one side of it but the burners need both sides of a 220 volt circuit. I would have the breaker tested first, and if it is good, look for a fuse, relay, breaker in the back of the stove. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: GE gas stovetop burner doesn't light

there are sparker modules on each burner behind the button, it may be that yours is failed, if you turn on other knob and you see spark at problem burner and still isn't lighting you have to make sure the black or grey tops are paced on perfectly, just give them a little nudge and you have to make sure area is perfectly clean for spark to take effect, spark will go for cleanest area on metal. so ensure area is clean and check burner top

Confirm there is 240 VAC powering the unit (make sure a breaker has not tripped or a fuse blown.).

Did the burners ever produce enough heat?

If yes, then we can look deeper. If no, then the burners may not be adequate for your cooking style. Burners are like light bulbs. A 60 watt bulb will put out more light than a 40 watt bulb. A 100 watt bulb will put out more light than a 60.
Typically, a small burner will provide less cooking heat than a large burner.

SOURCE: Have a four burner gas GE Profile cooktop. How do

The igniter module is working fine. One of the switches (which are on each valve shaft) is stuck or shorted out. Pull a wire off each one at a time to determine which one is bad. Careful! 120 volts to each wire. Also, this can happen after you spill water into the valve area, if that sounds right, let it dry out.

You could have a shorted burner, if it is not then you may have gotten a bad part.

Spark module wont shut off once it has ignited. Do I need a new one

Hi,
I would clean the electrodes on the burners really good, sometimes they seem not to sense heat from the burner and will not turn off the ignition system. Other times I fond bad grounds to the cooktop or outlet that can cause the same issue. The electrodes since heat from the burners to shut down the inanition system, also with out a good ground this system is impossible to work correctly.

I hope this helps

My GE Profile propane gas cook top was just installed yesterday. When I go to turn on one of the burners, all of the ignitors click. This can't possibly be normal. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, thats okay when you turn the knob voltage gets sent to the spark module, Then the module sparks all the burner igniter. And frame ignition only happens on the single burner of the knob you turned that sends gas to the burner associated with that knob.

Ignitors keep making ticking sound, all burners turned off, won't go in lock position, and one burner will not ignite gas despite constant ticking

Probably a spillage or boil over has clogged the burner and some of the liquid has dampened the shank switch mounted on the burner post. Get a shop vac and clean the burner. Wait a day or 2 and see if the switch stops. OR disable the ticky ticky by removing the bottom drawer and looking for the spark module. Remove one of the hot wires and tape it up. Light the burners like granny does with a match. LOL
