Sylvania LC321SS9 thin black horizontal line on screen

If the TV looses power before you turn the TV off with the power button, the scanned channels will not be saved.

It sounds like the light has gone out at that point on the screen, you're going to have to replace the LCD monitor itself.

Thats almost alwasy a Tconn issue replacing the Tconn board should solve the issue in most cases you can get replacement T conn from www.tvcircuitboards.com

I have the sylvania LC321SS9 tv and a atlas dvr1056 remote code 1864 works great with all functions!

Ive got bad news for you, about 90% of the time black horizontal lines are caused by the panel failing, your going to need a new TV. You can try replacing the timing board but the chances of it fixing it are slim..
