Got to the bottom of the problem after a lot of head scratching.Removed all plastics.Unplugged headlight Still blowing fuse so its not the light. so started looking at the wires going to instruments clocks etc.found wire that had been rubbing against the headlight bracked and was earthing.Repaired it and taped it all up tidied up a few more with cable ties.panic over

I love my R1150RT. It is smooth, it has a lot more lug at lower RPM than the older modles (2003 and before models with 1 spark plug). The modifications with 2 spark plugs have cured all the surging. Should you want a smooth, reliable, comfortable and high speed touring bike, I would sauggest this bike is the best.

How to fix bright lights? low beams work.

Check if the globes have blown. You will probably need to refer to the owners manual on how to remove and replace them.

Why don't my headlights work on my 2009 Mercury Grand Marquis?

Low Beam, and High Beam both are not working? There is a fuse you can check, review your owners manual for location, also could be headlight switch itself? Please check bulbs before expensive diagnosis...some times both bulbs blow out at the same time:( Hope this helps.

Low beams on my 2006 r1200rt do not come on and their is no error lights on

Hi,

The power for the low beams starts at the dimmer switch. The power then travels on a black/green wire to fuse number 2.From fuse #2 the juice goes again on a black/green wire to the low beams. So, check if the power is getting to fuse #2 and that the fuse holder is OK. Check the black/green wires for breaks. Finally if you have no power to fuse 2 then check the dimmer switch itself.

Let me know,once done.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

In our 2002 Honda Accord LX both low beam lights went out together but the high beams work fine. They went out together, what could be the cause?

Before you do anything else, you should check fuse number 2 (7.5 amp) in your engine compartment fuse box. It is your dimmer relay fuse. Fuse number 1 (20 amp) is your left headlight and fuse number 3 (20 amp) is your right headlight.
If the number 2 fuse is blown, and you replace it, if it blows again, I would have the system checked.
Hope this helps you.
