Deleting music sony nwz-s616f mp3 player

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. When the player is connected to your computer you can add and delete the music files. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

I don't know to delete the music from my delastar mp3 device

plug in your mp3 device to your computer via usb cable in the usb slot.

then, if pop-up appears, look in the contents of that folder and delete the songs you need to delete. If there is no pop up, go to "my computer" and look for your mp3 device.

Windows media player is deleting all my that has been added

it sounds like media player updates (syncs) your mp3 player when it is connected to the computer. If you had music on the mp3 player that you removed from the computer then it makes sense that when updating the mp3 player it will remove it from there also. Try leaving music on media player that you want to sync with your mp3 player and try resyncing it, hopefully this will help

Deleting files

You have to plug the mp3 player into the computer, double-click My Computer, double click on the icon of the GoGear, and then go into the Music folder - exercise caution: only delete music files - if you delete files that are non-music files, you will effectively destroy your GoGear.

Windows Media Player is more complex, but it is a safer way to delete songs:

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

Downloading music

First, install the software if any that came with your mp3 player and connect your mp3 player. If you want to add music to your mp3 player you can sync with your media player or copy and paste songs from my music folder to your mp3 player that's under my computer. To delete songs or files just go to my computer, click on your device and you will see your files, just click on any ones and press delete on your keyboard. To download music for your mp3 player, you will have to pay for songs at most places like itunes. There is one site that is called LimeWire, just go to www.limewire.com, download and install the software. Let me WARN YOU, that limewire is ILLEGAL and there is stiff penalties if you get caught.

hope this helps you out a little.
