Where can I get a measuring cup for the egg genie?

I lost my measuring cup for the egg genie... you would think they would have them for sale as I see on line that many people no longer have the measuring cup... it looks very much like my throw away 'Dixie Cups'... wouldn't it be nice if the company would include some color into the mix and make a colored cup that would be harder to lose?

SOURCE: my egg genie did not

Hello,

Here is a guide line that will help you to get better results from your question on Fixya please note.

There are many people that come to Fixya.com with questions about a problem they are having. However, in their frustration, they forget that to answer the question properly, certain important information is needed. Questions like "no heat" or "it does not work" have little value...

For a competent expert to be able to answer your problem, you will need to give a specific make and model of your unit.

Also include as much as possible about what you have already tried to do to resolve the problem along with exactly what is not working or what the unit is not doing that it is supposed to do.
This will help us experts to be able to give you the correct advise the first time, without having to guess so much as to what is actually happening.

THE AMOUNT OF WATER YOU USE IN THE EGG GENIE IS UNCLEAR

Decide if you want soft, medium or hard boiled.

pick the correct scale, and fill to the the number of eggs you have in the cooker, 1 requires more water than 7 because the eggs sit partly in the water. The "timer" is based upon the evaporation of the water over time, the fewer eggs, the less displacement in the water pool, but also easier for water vapor to escape.

I lost the owner's manual to my egg genie. What do I do?

You can cook perfect soft, medium and hard boiled eggs at the touch of a button.

Egg Genie cooks up to 7 eggs at once-with no guesswork, no underdone or overdone eggs.

Just add the indicated amount of water.

Press "on"and your work is done.

The Egg Genie automatically steams eggs and alerts you when they're ready.
