You need to check with Dynex, I didn't see anyting indicates that the USB 2.0 will runon 64-bit machine. it only indicated it will runwith WIndows Vista. (32-bits) I assume.

Need a driver for Windows 7 64-bit for my Belkin f5u109

No, this product is not compatible with Windows 7 - 64 bit. It is compatible with Vista 32 bit computers. however u have a similar adapter which is compatible with Vista 64 bit, and Windows 7 - 64 bit you can use part F5U257 (USB-to-Serial Adapter).

Is there a way to run a Dynex DX-UC104 with vista.

Sounds like you need to make sure your chipset drivers are up to date and all service packs are installed.
Ther is no reason it will not work in vista as it works in windows 7 64bit.So visit your motherboard site to get bios updates and driver updates, then update all through windows update and try to reinstall.
Windows should install a driver for vista.

this is a link for non vista

I can't install the drivers

It is discontinued, so you will most likely need to buy a new adapter as it is unlikely that there is a 64-bit driver available.  Make sure that any adapter you buy has Vista 64-bit support.  Try the following google search: "64-bit USB to serial adapter"

Can't install on new computer

Are you running 64 bit Vista?

If so you will need 64 Bit drivers for the device

Download this file

http://www.dynexproducts.com/skins/skin_1/Topics/Drivers/DX-EBUSB_2.03.05_Setup.exe

DO NOT CONNECT THE DEVICE UNTIL IT TELLS YOU

When the windows warning pops up, Install the driver anyway. then connect the device, that should fix the problem It worked on my 64bit Vista Ultimate

DX-UBDB9 Driver

I have the answer on how to get this to work.
First follow the instruction on this web site (http://www.security-hacks.com/2007/05/07/vista-disable-driver-signing-verification-in-64-bit) on how to turn off driver signing verification.

Second download the vista driver from http://www.cooldrives.com/wividrforprc.html and install it.

It worked under Vista and Windows 7.
