Haier XQG50-11 Front Load Washer / Dryer Logo

Haier XQG50-11 I have this machine it washes fine but the dryer does not dry. The clothes seem to be wetter at the end of the dry cycle then the wash cycle. The dry cycle does get very hot so the heating element I don't think is a problem. When it is on the dry cycle it almost sounds like it is constantly sending water into it.

I also have the same problem. Cycle is hot, but clothes (also VERY hot) seem wetter at the end than when they started. This is an intermittant problem, though. Some dry cyles go just fine. But when it doesn't work, it REALLY doesn't work.

I had this same problem. There are two possible solutions. First, you need to look underneath (use 2 people) and see if any hoses are kinked. If that is not the case then the machine is pulling in too much water during the dry cycle. I'm hooked up to a sink so I just turn the faucet down until the water is just a trickle. This works for me. If yours is attached to the wall you need to turn down the cold water tap. Its a pain in the ****, but I discovered no one can fix this machine, not even Haier's recommended service A&E. I always know more than the repairmen, very sad. Hope this helped you.

Same problems here. It seems steam can not get out. I guess the valve program goes wrong, sending water in instead of sending steam out as it should be.
At least the washer part is fine...

LG Washing Machine and Dryer. Hello, I have a problem with my machine. It leaves water at the end of the dryer cycle. What can I do for this??

Question edited for clarity.

You mean the clothes are still damp, (not dried enough) or that are as wet or wetter than you put them in? Bad dryer sensor for the former, broken water inlet valve or heater element failure for the latter.

With combined washers and dryers, there are so many things that can go wrong due to the number of sensors involved. You will need a service call from an LG technician.

Hi We have a miele condensor dryer. It is working fine except that you have to put clothes through twice to dry. It seems to cut short the drying process and then you need to put the machine back on...

The first thing you need to check is your vent system. If your dryer vent is clogged with lint, the dryer has a hard time expelling the moisture.
Then, if the vent is clean, try using a timed drying cycle instead of a sensor cycle. If your clothes get dry using the timed cycle, then you might have a sensor problem.
Also, make sure your wash machine is properly spinning out the clothes. I saw that once before where the customer thought the problem was with the dryer, but it ended up being their wash machine's ATC switch adding water at the end of the spin cycle.

Good luck!

Dryer not working. Clothes wetter than when they went in?

Could be that the RPM is not enough for the spin as the BELT is loose or slipping or if the motor speed is less due to a worn out CAPACITOR.
Try with a longer drying time or manually dry to confirm .
Also check if the inlet valve is working at any time during this cycle to we the clothes, if so there could be output from the control panel which could be a suspect.

Water building up during the dry cycle and clothes getting wetter

1) Make sure wash cycle is 100% finished (sometimes dryer will start before - usu on synthetic cycle & allows water to continue flowing in)

2) Manually start the dry cycle after you ensure wash cycle is finished and push in the wash cycle button.

Hope that helps! If not, you may need a new control module (I did - hope you don't!)

Thor laundry system won't dry clothes I have a thor no venting washer/dryer combo machine, that has been working fine for years. Suddenly it is not drying clothes and instead, clothes are soaking wet...

I am having the same problem on a WD9900A. The wash cycle works great. Spins fast and clothes are completely rung out. Dryer cycle heats up well. Fluffs and heats cloths. At some point during dry cycle water is injected on clothes and they end up sopping wet; much wetter than after wash. Filter is clear. Outlet pipe clear and functions well. Possible problem with dryer timer? Or washer timing kicking back on?

Dryer Problem

EC4 The temperature of air vent
Within 30 minutes of dry cycle there is 5 minutes in which the temperature is not increasing.

You need to call for repairs. Probably the heating element is faulty.

You can create a custom program without a dry cycle and hang dry your clothing.

How do you DRY with the Haier washer/dryer

Have you tried lengthening the dryer cycle or running it at a higher temp? The usual culprit for wet clothes is not running a dryer long enough or hot enough. (I remember some stand-alone dryers (coin-operated with a fixed drying time per coin) that needed two cycles to dry stuff.
