JVC Everio GZ-360BU Camera Temperature is Too Low - Keep Power On??

When I turn my camer on it says "CAMER A TEMPATURE IS TOO LOW KEEP CAMERA POWER ON. PLEASE WAIT" - i live in California and it's really not that cold!?! I'm waiting but no change - I took the battery off and put back on to try again but still same message - the camera works without the battery if I power it with a cord - the camera is less than six months old - bought at Costco - should I return it?

I have the JVC Everio GZ-MG730U camera and are getting the same message: camera temperature is too low - keep power on.  However, it is not too cold and it will not work.

I'm an English guy with the same problem... What you do is keep the power on for a long time, or you charge it up with the charger. Trust me. However, it is very rare for this to occur. There should be a message saying: "Temperature is too low, keep power on." There should be another message reading: "Turn off power and turn on again to check if camera is fully-functional. Thanks for giving me something to do while X-Plane downloads on my Mac OS X.

GZ-MG30U JVC camcorder software need

You do not need any software to download the data from your camera. You can view your video files through Windows media player. The camer comes with Cyberlink Power director to view and edit the pictures if you want to make your own movies, but just about any editing software will do.

My jvc hdd everio gz-mg630ru won't run on internal power

This is usually caused by a failed component in the power circuit within the camera and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it’s not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

My name is Rick and I’m a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I’m semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

Camera temp is too low keep camera power on pls. wait

Stop making your movies in the freezer my friend, try going in doors, Hard Drive cameras are only good for proper temp filming, that is why most proper cameramen still stick to 8mm tapes.

I have a JVC HDD Camcorder GZ-MG135AA. I've had it for a while but it has a HDD error and it also says "Camera temperature is too low, keep camera power on?..what can I do to fix this?

The best solution is to send the product back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. If you have a receipt for the product and its within the warranty period (1 year) they will do this free of charge. I can help you with the process.

Camera Temperature

mine is an everio gz-mg37u and i get that same bulls*** on the screen at every power up. First I tried waiting a while then switching all the switches between camera and video mode, record and watch mode, etc. and one time it worked and the message went away. Haven't been able to do that since.

Now what I do is turn it on, wrap it in a blanket, leave it about 10 minutes, then turn the power off and on again. Works fine for me, and if I turn it off and then turn it back on within a few minutes before it cools down, it works fine. There has to be a messed up sensor in this thing that I can desolder somewhere......
