I NEED A DOWNLOAD DRIVER FOR MY XEROX M750 PRINTER FOR WINDOWS 7

Hi,
From what I have found out asking around. Go to the Xerox.com web site.
From the tool bar select Support and Drivers. In the search area, enter M750, your printer model.
Then select drivers and downloads.
Once again the drivers and download link.And select the Windows 2000 driver. I have been told that driver should work fine with XP also.
I do not have that particular model to check this out. But I am pretty sure that it should be fine, unless you have a 64 bit version of XP.
Give that a try, I am pretty sure it will work. And if you can, please let me know.

Here's a trick that worked for me - there are two tiny prisms on the back of each ink cartridge, to refelct light to a sensor indicating whether there is or is not ink in the cartridge. Simply put a small piece of masking tape over the non-mirrored prism, i.e. right next to the mirrored prisms, to make the printer think the cartridge is full of ink. Put the small pieces of tape on each of the three empty color cartridges, being careful not to cover up the mirrored pieces, as light relected from these indicates that there is a cartridge in the slot. The printer will run as if it has full black and color cartridges, but set your defaults to only print black.

It' also listed at Microsoft as incompatable with vista. Best you can do is get a cheap old used machine that runs XP and set it up as a print server for your network, (set it up with printer sharing) send all of your documents thru it for printing. Sorry it's probably not the answer you were looking for but it is the only solution I've found for mine. I bought an old P3 machine running XP for $5.00 at a garage sale and it's working great as a print server.

The above is the XP Vista drivers for the 7132.

The 7232 is a totally different machine and the windows 7 drivers for it will not work with your 7131 according to their table.

Also, according to Xerox's table, windows 7 drivers are definitely not available for the 7132. The latest drivers are for Vista, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, because windows 7 can run vista programs in its compatibility mode, or many times it works alright after downloading and installing the vista drivers.
