If the door won't stay shut the issue is with the door catch not the door springs, But if you want to know where the door springs are you need to remove the outer cabinet of the dishwasher and you will see them on the lower sides.

Either the latch in door (spring related) is not in the correct location or you have a door switch issue and its not expensive to fix if you husband is handy. Part number you can use is 28QBP0495 or the factory one 3405-001034 (more expensive). This issue is common and these switches are located inside the control panel on the left side, the switch you seek is the lowest one in the bracket of three. Good Luck and I hope this helps.
If the door will not stay closed it is the spring inside door, or the small plastic piece that holds the spring which is attached to the $80.00 piece called outer door.
To fix it, it is EASY and you do not have to even take the inside cover all the way off. Just remove the three sides of cover by gently slipping a plastic putty knife around rim to release the clips. Then attach the spring to the small hole below where the plastic piece used to be, which is located in the metal on the glass frame piece, use tweezers, hold the other end of spring as you place spring onto plastic door latch and set into place!
Snap the inside cover back on and YAY! FINI!

Most if not all exhaust fan flappers have a spring loaded door that will open when when the exhaust comes out and the springs will allow the door to shut completely. Check your local home store for replacement springs, if new springs are not available you may need to replace the part of the vent with the flapper on it, not very labor intensive but it is time consuming, as you need to remove whatever is being vented, like an over the range microwave or a vent hood.
either the latch thats on the door is bad,,or the catch on the tub is out of line,,,now if the dishwasher door drops hard and wont stay up ..you need new door spring and the weight makes it pop[ open..
