Any time I play any game I experience the following:
1 minute of freezing - 1 minute of gameplay - 1 minute of freezing - 1 minute of gameplay -1 minute of freezing - 1 minute of gameplay -1 minute of freezing - 1 minute of gameplay -1 minute of freezing - 1 minute of gameplay -1 minute of freezing - 1 minute of gameplay
I timed it with a stop watch. It lasts exactly 1 minute for each phase.
Another thing it will do it shut off randomly without warning. I thought it was an overheating issue, but sometimes it will be cool as a daisy and still do it, while other times the thing can be hotter than hell and work just fine.
I experimented with some performance boosters as well as shutoff every single process that isn't the game i'm playing. The result was 2 minutes of gameplay exactly, and an unexpected shutdown. Futher tests garnished the same result. It's not a virus because it has been doing this since i reformatted it, and from before that as well. Don't give me some vauge answer like "check the hardware" because no **** sherlock.
It also does this if I have too much **** loaded up at one time. Either lag or a shutoff. One minute of ****, one minute of freezing. Yada yada. Mostly the shutoffs seem entirely random.
I'm running windows 7. this is a Lenovo IBM ThinkPad R52 Notebook made in 2005. It's fine if I'm just browsing the internet like this, but a bro has to get his game on ******.
I play Minecraft, Portal 2, Braid, Terraria, The Sims 2, and World of Warcraft. Framerates are fine on all games when it doesnt freeze. Help a ****** out.

Maybe you need to switch to another video recording software instead. Smartpixel might be a good choice for you, it is compatible with all the PC games, and it has a PIC in PIC mode which allows you comment on the webcam while game capturing, it is simple and easy.

Hi There, I have the same problem with a game called zoo tycoon. It is probably the amount of ram that you have. If you have less than 2GB of RAM, try upgrading to 4GB and see what happens. And also, try enabling hardware acceleration and see what happens.
Try using a can of air to blow out the fan area. Even though its well ventilated it may be full of dust. It sounds like an overheating issue. Also look into aftermarket fan/cooling solutions, that dont plug directly into the PS3 and have there own outlet power plug.
You should check the laser lens when you have the tray open. If there is any dust build up on it, take a can of compressed air and blow off any excess dust. You want to avoid touching the lens at all. If that doesn't help then it may be time to send it in. Call Sony for pricing information at 1-800-345-SONY.
It might just be the game if that's the only one giving you problems. I have Shining Force Neo, and occasionally it will lag so bad I'll have to wait several minutes before I can resume gameplay. It seems to be a problem with the game itself, not your system.
It censored P_ORN its when I have to much P_ORN loaded up.
