There are six common power cords that fit most brands, Radio Shack, Electronic Service Shops, Specialty Electronic Stores, and second shops, should have what you are looking for, as a last resort you can go online and contact customer support.

My icraig ihome for my ipod says it will not charge my ipod what dod i do ?

This usually indicates an incompatibility between the charging unit (in this case, the boombox) and the iPod.
Most often, this is because the iPod is a more recent generation than the boombox supports.
Check the Craig website, or your documentation, to see if your iPod model is compatible. If it isn't, there's nothing you can do.
In these cases, the unit (boombox) will usually play the iPod songs OK, it just can't charge it.

Someone gave my special education classroom an Emerson PD6511B CD player - without a power cord. Where can I purchase just the cord?

Radio Shack sells several cords typically used with boomboxes. This one, while it may not be exactly the same end as the original, works in most boomboxes. Their website says most of the cords are in the stores, so you can take the boombox with you to one and see if there's an exact match available. You can also run this boombox on batteries until you find a cord.
