My Proton NT 333 06194 had a gorgeous picture for years, recently started to have an occasional wash of red tint over picture, now the red tint is pretty much constant, only occasionally do I get a good picture. What is the solution???
Did u go through the menu and check for the contrast and tints?

Unless this set is really oddball, it probably has the same type power cord connector used on computers and so many other electronic appliances. If this is the case, you can use a standard computer power cord as a replacement. The computer cord is a three-wire plug with a ground pin and the TV probably only had a two-prong plug, but the cord will still fit. Your electric outlet should be the three-prong type (if it's not, get it replaced!) so the plug will fit.
If the connector in the set is really different, you can check online by doing a Google search for replacement parts for you TV.

it may just be your tv. some tv's have that type of problem sometimes. actually, i wouldnt say its a problem, just a lack of effort in the makers of your tv. if you dont mind the problem, just dont worry about it. if it just drives you crazy, get a new tv.
