Under the GT button at the top, switch that button to the "Rate"..enter whatever % tax rate you want. Then move button back to off setting.

enter your number and hit the plus sign, then the tax+ button or the tax- button. it will automatically figure the tax for you. You may have to play with it a bit..I got the pdf version from the canon tech geeks, and the directions leave lots to be desired. Good Luck!

In the manual for the Casio PCR T275, it does not state clearly how to program a tax rate. What is the key sequence to set a tax rate of 12% for products? Thanks.

The tax can be set through the help menu. Press HELP then select 2 for tax and it will lead you through.

Hi. I noticed you said you knew the Casio TE2000 cash register and hoped you could help me. I bought a second hand TE2000 with a manual and I want to clear the memory and change the trader name and message...

Turn key to Program mode2 SUBTOTAL
132 SUBTOTALNow type the characters for the first line of the receipt 00 (double zero button)CASH (maybe labelled CA/AT)232 SUBTOTALNow type characters for second line00CASH332 SUBTOTALNow type characters for third line00 CASH432 SUBTOTALNow type characters for fourth line00 CASHSUBTOTALTurn the key back to REG mode.
There is a good reason why they don't want you to clear the whole memory. You will lose country, tax, monetary settings plus lots of dealer settings. It is best to edit the old program to suit your new business. It will be much easier and quicker. To reset the report, turn to Z mode and press CASH. That will clear out the last daily report. The only thing you can't clear is the grand total. That is a security issue, so it always keeps adding, but you don't need it. Your other figures will be correct each day. Some machines allow you to turn the GT printing off if it annoys you.

Hi program the taxes like the book says but fix the gst rate, then go to program mode and push 1 subtotal, then push t/s1(taxtable 1 which is gst) and the dept number you want to use, then subtotal and cash and that will be the dept you will use for just gst. Hope I'm making sense. Took me forever to figure this out.

Casio Register 265P - Doubling Tax in Sales Total

Hi.
That could be tricky. we will need to go through the tax setup in your machine.

My first questions are:

1. Does it happen on all department (item buttons)?
2. Does it happen no matter what payment method you use (cash, check, credit)?
3. When you push Subtotal, does it show the wrong amount then, or only when you press a payment type to open the drawer?
