Nokia n72 pc suite problem

with that error message "USB Decive Not Recognized", it means that there might be something wrong with the usb cable you're using or the usb port on your pc. try connecting it to a different usb port. if its the same thing, try using another usb cable.

sir plz install the n72 pc suit to the computer.and then connect the data cable from phone to the pc to transfer the files [or] change the data cable for proper connectivity from phone to the pc.................

N72 can be connected to your PC in two ways.
1. By USB cable
2.Via Bluetooth.

Bluetooth means you need to buy a device called Bluetooth dongle to provide bluetooth connectivity to your system.

For both usb and bluetooth, you need a software called Nokia PC Suite to access the mobile contents and for data transfer

Remove Totally and Re-Install your Nokia PC Suite and Drivers first, then follow the On-Screen instructions to connect your Phone to your PC, at the same time, also try to use a different USB prot this time around.

u should have the pc suite cd instalation in the box of ur phone when u purchase it, or u can simply find it in nokiawebsite, it's free everywhere ^^

you need drivers for your nokia install on your PC. Check any CD if you got one or browse www.nokia.com

it is the problem with usb data cable or with ur phone point which we connect the datacable. when u find this problem expand the cable for a max. distance from the pc when u connect both of it.

Just follow the following steps:
1) Locate the USB port of your Nokia N72 phone. See Manual if needed.
2) If your mobile phone has a USB Data Cable supplied, connect the end that matches the hub while connect the USB end to your USB port of your PC.
3) If your mobile phone has a CD supplied, this contain the PCSuite software bundled with drivers for your PC operating system.
4) Insert the CD to your CDRom drive.
5) After step 4, you will see a window saying install PCSuite then choose Yes.
6) Choose which operating system. If you use Windows 98, then choose the driver for Windows 98.
7) After installation, reboot/restart tour PC to complete the setup process but never disconnect yet your USB Cables from your mobile phone to PC.
8) Once restarted click on the icon of the PCSuite on your PC, then check if your PC can communicate with your mobile phone and vice versa. To do this click connect via USB if the datas in your mobile phone is seen then connection is correct.

If your problem is USB Driver for Windows 98, i suggest you upgrade your PC operating system to Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Old operating platforms have driver problems when new devices are attached to. But if you choose Windows 98, you will have to browse the internet in search of drivers. Just let me know if you have not found a driver. I'll assist you with this.
