I try to change my display size from 800 by 600 to higher and right ufter that my video card show massege that OUT OF RANGE.What can I do to bring my display original size back the way it was.

click start control panel,display,desktop you can select a different desktop from the drop down list
or a browse button where you can select different pictures this may vary depending on your operating system
also settings you can change the settings for more or less pixels or from the drop down list pick the appropriate level of color range or troubleshoot also select advanced then general dpi normal size,larger size or custom settings
always click APPLY after making any changes hope this helps

It means that the maximum resolution of your monitor is 600 to 800 only. Anything that's higher than that will not display the screen. Although you can try setting it a bit higher because most of the monitors have a standard screen size of 1024 x 768 but if it's a VGA monitor, chances are the max size is already 600 x 800

He may have changed the display settings on the computer. He may have altered the refresh rate higher than the monitor can handle.
You can try start the computer in safe mode (F8 repeatedly on boot up, till the safe mode option comes up)
This will load basic video drivers, you should be able to check your settings now.

Yes you have change the settings of your display to a higher resolution and your monitor is not compatible with that setting, to fix this you can bring your system unit to a friend or neighbor who has a computer and try changing it if your friends monitor is capable or compatible with your display settings. Or if you have other monitor you can swap it.

This normally happens when display resolution is changed to higher resolution and cannot be compatible/displayed by monitor. Either plug in another monitor and lower down resolution or Press F8 and go to advanced boot option and start your computer in safe mode and try changing display resolution. If it still doesn't works and you have the drivers for you display adapter (video card) then uninstall display adapter from device manager by booting in safe mode. Once you get to normal boot mode reinstall drivers for display adapter.

Things to check: Are your display settings set to "native resolution" of your screen. The native resolution is the actual dimensions (in pixels) of your flat-panel screen.
Looks like the Dell E153FP 15" has a native resolution of 1024x768. In windows, go to your control panel, in display settings, and ensure the resolution is set to 1024x768.
If that does not work, you can try the "auto adjust" feature on the monitor. On many Dell monitors, you can get this by pressing and holding the + button (on the monitor). You'll see the words "auto-adjust" appear on the screen if this works. If that doesn't work, you may be able to find auto adjust by navigating the menues in your monitor's menu, which you can get to by pressing the "menu" button on your monitor (sometimes this looks like a little rectangle icon). If it's an alignment problem, this should fix it right away.
If neither of the above work, it's probably your video card. Make sure your video card drivers are the correct ones for your card and OS, and up to date. Start your computer and press the F8 when the manufacturer's logo screen is showing. This will bring you to the Windows startup menu. Pick "start in VGA mode" and windows will start up with video settings you monitor can handle. Then you can change your video settings so Windows will start normally with your monitor.

Sometimes less is more when configuring X, even with the improvements in X.org

I'd remove everything from the section except Section "Monitor" and Identifier "Monitor0".

Let the boot process do the auto-detection of hardware: card and display monitor.

After logging in -- hope this works -- go the Menus:
System > Preferences > Display and try to get things working through that interface.

To resolve this behavior, either change the refresh rate, or change the video adapter settings.

To change the refresh rate:

1. Restart the computer, and while it is restarting, press F8 until the Startup menu appears. Press 3, and then press ENTER to start the computer in Safe mode.
2. Right-click the desktop, click Properties, and then click Settings.
3. Click Advanced, click Adapter, and then click Adapter Default from the Refresh Rate list.
4. Click OK, click OK again, and then click Yes to restart the computer in Normal mode.

You can set the colors and screen area to your preferences under Display Properties.


To change the video adapter settings:

1. Restart the computer, and while it is restarting, press F8 until the Startup menu appears. Press 3, and then press ENTER to start the computer in Safe mode.
2. Right-click the desktop, click Properties, and then click Settings.
3. Click Advanced, click Adapter, and then click Change.
4. Click Next, and then click Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want.
5. Click Next, click Show all hardware, and then click Standard display types under Manufacturers.
6. Click Standard Display Adapter (VGA), and then click Next.
7. Click Yes, click Next, click Finish, and then click Yes to restart the computer.
8. After the computer starts, right-click the desktop, click Properties, and then click Settings.
9. Click 256 colors, click Apply, and then restart the computer.
10. After the computer starts, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click System.
11. Click Device Manager, click View devices by type, and then click Display adapters.
12. Click Standard Display Adapter (VGA), click Remove, and then click OK.
13. Install all updated monitor drivers.

depending on the age of your computer, some of the older video cards in XP only will allow you to show video in 600x800 resolution. When you want to show video go ahead and change both of your display properties (both the primary and the secondary) to 600x800. See if that works.

If that is not what you are refering to go right click on your desktop and look for the properties or settings of your graphics card. it may say graphics properties . In that area there will be tons of options like (when showing video only show it on the secondary monitor) play around with the different settings on your graphics card.
