SOURCE: Problem printing multiple pages on one sheet!

This is not the fault of the printer but the fault of word.

The way I did it successfully was as follow:
File > Page Setup > Layout = Landscape (sounds like you have already done this)

In the print dialoge, instead of OK, click Properties. On the layout tab, select landscape and below that select pages per sheet = 4 and then click ok... Then click OK to print.

SOURCE: Word Settings for Printing Postcards

I found the fix!! Once you have your size settings typed into your page layout screen and applied to the document, click print. Once you select your printer, click on properties (or printer preferences) click on the features tab (the tab next to printing shortcuts) and go to the resizing options section. click on paper size bar and scroll down to custom. once in the screen, give the shortcut a name you'll recognize, type in your dimensions in the provided spaces click save. once you go back to the features screen, scroll back down to custom and select your shortcut that you just created and apply it to both the paper type and paper size. click ok and go back and click ok to print! Hope this makes sense..if not, go to HP's website and type in your product name, type paper mismatch in the keyword search bar and click ont the first link in the found section. It will give you the same step by step instructions....

Printer cutting off words

Is this happening with every program you use to print? If it's just a single program, try changing the line spacing. It sounds as if you've got the line spacing too small for the current font and it's cutting off the bottoms in order to print the next line.

I am trying to print a booklet 2 pages per sheet double sided. Printing is OK but spacing is no good for the binding when the pages are cut in two. What instructions should I give the printer to allow...

Hi

By spacing, I assume you mean the margins at the centre.

The default margin settings are not the same for the right and left hand side of the page, so the printing on the reverse side is offset from the printing on the first side.

The right margin is always wider to allow for punch holes in file paper.

It is not the printer settings you need to adjust, it is the page layout of your word processing software.

Adjust the margin settings manually. In MS Office 2007:

Page Layout > Margins > Mirrored Margins.

Hope this helps.

I'a computer idiot. I can not figure out how to hilite a paragraph from something i'm reading on the internet and just print that paragraph off my printer

Hi! you may press and hold the left button of your mouse from the start of the paragraph till the end of the last sentence of the paragraph that you want to copy. after you highlight the paragraph, you may press CTRL + C button on your keyboard to copy all the sentences, open a word document, right click on the word document and press paste. this will paste the paragraph on the word document. lastly you may press CTRL + P to print the file. Please make sure that the printer is connected to the computer and is on. Thank you for visiting FIxYa.com!

Margin problem

Problem---Printer prints email on the very edge of the paper and leaves off the first 3 letters of every word down the edge of that margin. If you have Windows Live Mail forget trying to fix it from there. Clicking File will not give you the page setup option you are looking for. Go to the bottom of the screen, click "all programs", look for and click "Internet Explorer", click File, click "page setup". A screen comes up in which you can change the margins. The left margin is probably set on .25. Change it to .75. Okay. Go back and run a test email.
