Extremely distorted speaker/ear phones ans headset

I have a 3 week old 8310. In the beginning when I received calls I assumed the extremely bad sound/reception was coming from the other person's phone, but no matter how I listen to a call-headset, speak phone, or ear plugs(even playback of my voice messages), I can not understand 90% of the message. I have to use a land line to receive my message and I no longer answer my phone.
It's still under warranty but they are back ordered so I have no idea when I will receive a new one.
Any ideas?
Thank you

SOURCE: blackberry curve 8310 can't make or receive calls or texts

I have found that the second line can be selected in the call log screen, if your number isn't displayed below the time then highlight and select your main phone number this should allow you to access the features once again

SOURCE: The model of my AT&T

Connect the telephone line of the answering machine from the series connection of the facts machine
.Now set the number of rings for the answering machine to activate to the maximum.{This is found on the side of the machine as a reed switch.}
Now when the calls comes in there is enough time for you to allow it to the answering machine or to attend a call or to set it to facts if a document is comming. While you are away you have to decide the priority needed for either facts or answering as it is a commonline. If answering machine has to work set the facts to telephone mode.If facts has to work set it to facts as the machine will activate before the answering machine.

Bose cinemate speaker system suddenly gets very loud why?

If the unit is around 5-6 years old or less, you have a bad Rotary Encoder. It is an input to the microprocessor IC(a computer within your Bose). If you would like to inquire about repairing your Bose, please visit me at my website, audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me directly from the site.

Cannot hear phone ringing in headset, only on handset.

The HL10 handset lifer is what notifies your headset that you have an incoming call. If you are using the handset lifter and are not receiving the 3 short beeps in your ear piece there are a couple different things that could be going on.
1. The internal microphone could have gone out on the lifter. This microphone is what sends the signal to your headset that you have an incoming call. If the microphone is working you will hear 3 short beeps in your headset.
2. If the volume is too low on your telephone, the handset lifter will not notify the headset of an incoming call, so try turning the volume up on your phone and see if that takes care of the problem.
3. The HL10 handset lifter ships with a ring detector that has a 2.5mm jack on one end and a small round microphone on the other end. This ring detector is intended for phones that do not have the speaker located under the handset. You could try plugging this into the back of the lifter and setting the microphone next to where the lifter is mounted on your phone. This might help pick up the sound of the phones ring tone.

If you are manually lifting your handset out of the cradle and sitting it to the side instead of using a lifter, then you will not receive the 3 short beeps in your earpiece to notify you of an incoming call.

When i recieve or make a call i can not hear anything?

1. Take the battery out to reset/reboot.
2. Once it powers up, plug a wired headset into it.
If you can hear through the headset fine -but not thru the ear speaker, well then its the ear speaker that has gone bad. (Hardware problem.. if its less than a year old or u have cell phone insurance, call your cell company and see if they will replace that under warranty)
You could also try speakerphone and see if that works.. if the ear speaker goes out - maybe the loud speaker will still work.

Distorted sound when using handset to answer calls

All you need is a new speaker unit, these cost between £2 and £10 on ebay. remove all 4 screws blow the screen slide bit, carefully pop of the screen surround and prise out the old speaker and insert the new one. Rebuild phone. Fixed.

Listeners say when I'm speaking to them on phone, it's too LOUD

If it is just the one phone you are calling, the problem might be with their volume contol...ask them to check the volume on their phone.

Speaker capabilites

I would say between 75 & 80. Or better yet, Just as it starts to sound distorted, then turn it down just a bit until it sounds good again. Clear i mean. Also if you want more volume out of that or you need it louder for whatever reason, you can hookup the output of the television to an Audio Receiver and turn it up extremely loud. Rock and roll. Good luck. Guru Jay
