I have a 3 week old 8310. In the beginning when I received calls I assumed the extremely bad sound/reception was coming from the other person's phone, but no matter how I listen to a call-headset, speak phone, or ear plugs(even playback of my voice messages), I can not understand 90% of the message. I have to use a land line to receive my message and I no longer answer my phone.
It's still under warranty but they are back ordered so I have no idea when I will receive a new one.
Any ideas?
Thank you

I have found that the second line can be selected in the call log screen, if your number isn't displayed below the time then highlight and select your main phone number this should allow you to access the features once again

The blackberry curve can record video and view youtube pages as long as
you have the latest device software for you phone all you have to do is
download Blackberry Desktop Manager to your PC and download the correct
Device software and you can update it yourself to enable the video

Connect the telephone line of the answering machine from the series connection of the facts machine
.Now set the number of rings for the answering machine to activate to the maximum.{This is found on the side of the machine as a reed switch.}
Now when the calls comes in there is enough time for you to allow it to the answering machine or to attend a call or to set it to facts if a document is comming. While you are away you have to decide the priority needed for either facts or answering as it is a commonline. If answering machine has to work set the facts to telephone mode.If facts has to work set it to facts as the machine will activate before the answering machine.
The HL10 handset lifer is what notifies your headset that
you have an incoming call. If you are using the handset lifter and are not receiving the 3 short beeps in your ear piece there are a couple
different things that could be going on.
1.
The internal microphone could have gone out on
the lifter. This microphone is what sends the signal to your headset that you
have an incoming call. If the microphone is working you will hear 3 short beeps
in your headset.
2.
If the
volume is too low on your telephone, the handset lifter will not notify the
headset of an incoming call, so try turning the volume up on your phone and see
if that takes care of the problem.
3.
The HL10
handset lifter ships with a ring detector that has a 2.5mm jack on one end and
a small round microphone on the other end. This ring detector is intended for
phones that do not have the speaker located under the handset. You could try
plugging this into the back of the lifter and setting the microphone next to
where the lifter is mounted on your phone. This might help pick up the
sound of the phones ring tone.
If you are manually
lifting your handset out of the cradle and sitting it to the side instead of
using a lifter, then you will not receive the 3 short beeps in your earpiece to
notify you of an incoming call.
