Another phone works great on the line, has power keeps giving Out of range or no power at base.
I found this solution in a Amazon customer review!! Worked right away in 2 seconds! Punch in *331734#MenuSelect (including the asterisk and the hash mark). Good Luck.
This worked! Phone will read "registering phone." Failed 1st time but worked on 2nd attempt - after brief delay message read "phone registered" and phone was back in working order.
My handset is a TL90073, which doesn't have the "menu" - "select" option. Instead, type the code into the problem handset, then press the LEFT dash button (above CELL 1), and you'll achieve the same result.
It worked,
thank you . You made my day!
Thank you thank you thank you. My base station broke, so I couldn't register my existing handsets with my new base station. Why the heck is this code not in the manual??? Thanks again!
Thank you. You probably saved me a long time on hold with AT&T customer service.
I had the same problem with my VTech DS6322-3 Handset did this code and it works great. Thank you.

Hi.
Try doing a full system power reset. This is done performing the following, simply disconnecting the power adapter won't be enough:
The
procedure above will reset the system and will re-sync handsets to
cradles. If that does not work, then some of the units comprised in the system is
defective. In that case the only way of having the system fixed is calling the manufacturer and sending the units in the system back for repair.
Regards.
Ginko.

If the unit does not seem to be responding normally, try putting the cordless handset in its base. If it does not seem to respond, do the following (in the order listed):
• Disconnect the power to the telephone base.
• Disconnect the cordless handset battery, and spare battery, if applicable.
• Wait a few minutes.
• Connect power to the telephone base.
• Re-install the battery pack, and place the cordless handset into the telephone base.
• Wait for the cordless handset to re-establish its connection with the telephone base. Allow up to one minute for this to take place.
If none of the above work, the handset is more than likely incompatible with the base that you have.
