My watch has stopped and even with a new battery put in by the Jeweler it did not work. Do you have a place I can send it for repair?e. Best watch I have ever owned and I would like to keep it for sentimental reason. Thanks Ed Cigahn [email protected]

Sorry, but Fixya doesn't actually fix things itself, despite the name. Fixya dispenses advice instead, so hopefully there is a watchmaker here who can do that.
It does sound as though the watch is not repairable, although you can go to a second opinion from another repairer. I looked at the Atomic advertisement, and it seemed to me like grand claims for a not very good watch.
.
What kind of battery did they put in it?? G shocks are powered by a rechargeable solar battery!!! Should not have been replaced unless it was the same type of battery. I would be going back to jeweler and asking them to send your watch to Casio and they pay for the new solar battery. Let me know what happens.
mcdevito75 here, Your Jeweler had to mention your watch would go to Seiko for repairs. Seiko should notify you or your Jeweler with the repair particulars.
This may sound obvious but it needs to be repaired by a jeweler/watch repair shop. Although it is possible that the stop watch second hand is out of sync it would usually mean that the stop watch is starting at 3 seconds before 00:00 for 57 stop. If that's the case you should be able to readjust the start/stop position by pulling the crown out to 1st or 2nd position and then pressing the stop watch start stop buttons. One press, one position. Although I am not certain of the exact sequence. However if you are unsure or it starts at the 00:00 position you need to find a jeweler you can trust to do the work. Check out a few places and ask to see the credentials of the watch repair person then compare and make an informed decision. Don't just use the jeweler at purchase point. Most times, if it's a simple repair, like readjusting the hands a good jeweler will do it for nothing.
Take the advice of your jeweler. If it is still within warranty, then they should repair or replace it free of charge.
Otherwise they should give you a price for repair.
To find your nearest dealer go to "Casio.com" , select "support" and then "find a service location" to find where you can get advice or get it repaired.
Type in your browser WATCH REPAIRS or WATCHMAKER and find your local or nearest watch repair shop. They should be able to carry out all the necessary work.
Maybe you can try above link to contact Swiss Wenger for the repair of your watch. It's best to send your valuable watch to its Authorized Dealer for repair.
You can take it to a reputable watchmaker (NOT a jeweler) and they should have no problem helping you with this problem. It might be that your watch isn't working because the second hand is stopping it from running. Have them CHECK your battery (opposed to just changing the battery) I bet the second hand is the reason your watch isn't working. If you have problems findind help PLEASE let me know, and I will be gald to assist you fher!
What kind of watch is it? Is it under warrenty? If not, look in your phone book for a watchrepair NOT a jeweler, and most carry alot of crystals ( if it's round) in stock or can order it for you. If you can't find one let me know.
