Hello
If the tV has a "Menu" button at tis fron panel, you can press it and surf through, come to input selector window, and can change the input to TV. If there is no Menu button on its front panel, there is no other way to change the inputs without its remote control.

Connecting samsung dvd to Philips 47PFL6704D LCD TV

Hook up your cables from your DVD player to these input on the back of your TV. 6131e0b.jpg The group of ports should be labeled as video 1 input. Use the Yellow, Red and White on the back of both DVD Player and TV. Then, change the input on the TV remote to input or video 1 to watch the DVD Player.

Philips LCD 17PF8946/37 TV not working

The good news is that the "No Input Signal" message means that your TV is not broken. If you are trying to watch cable, then you have simply turned the TV to the wrong input channel. If your cable comes into the Philips using a coaxial cable wire, use the Philips remote to change the channel to Ch.3 or 4 - whichever channel you normally watch cable on. Make sure the cable box is turned on if you have a cable box. If the cable box connects to the TV using another type of wire, use the Ch+/- on the Philips remote and go through all the AV channels until you find the right one. Good luck! Let me know if you need additional help.

Unable to select channels using the unit

First, test to make sure the Philips remote is working by trying to play a dvd. If the remote control is working, then either A) your TV is set to the wrong channel, or B) you have not selected the correct source on the Philips remote.

Look at how the cables run from the back of the Philips to the TV. In the back of your TV, the slot that the cables are plugged in to is usually labelled "AV1, "AV2, "Video 1", "Input 1" or something like that. Change the television to the appropriate input/source channel.

Press the Source button on the Philips remote and make sure it says E1 or whatever the appropriate source is.

Then try changing channels using the Philips remote.

This does not exhaust every possibility, but you must check the above first to see if anything else might be wrong. If the above does not work, then I would double-check to make sure the cable/satellite box is connected to the Philips correctly.

Philips Home theater system

Just run the yellow cord that came supplied with the HTS from the CVBS plug in the back of the HTS to any available yellow video input on your TV, then you want to change your TV's video/source/input/channel (the wording varies by tv manufacturer) to Video 1/AV 1/Aux 1, or whatever your television is calling the yellow input that you plugged into.

Also, Philips number is 1-888-PHILIPS

Philips/Magnavox 32MF605W/17 32" LCD Wide Screen HDTV ready w/ATSC.

Yes you can. This TV has both VGA-In and component in support. The only thing you need to change is the input you're using with your remote control. As easy as changing the channel!
