How do I find wps button on Netgear WNR834B

The Netgear WNR834B does not support WiFi Protected Setup (WPS).

You can follow the documentation in the manual to setup WPA-PSK (Pre-Shared Key) and use the key to add devices to your wireless network.

Manual: http://documentation.netgear.com/wnr834b/enu/202-10171-01/pdfs/FullManual.pdf

How to remove (disable) FVS336Gv2 full VPN access in LAN using CLI?

I would suggest going to the site above and read more on configuring your device. It sounds like your VPN firewall is blocking your browser from accessing the web interface.

I have a netgear, 54 mbps wireless router WGR614 v5 and can not locate my installation disk. Can anyone tell me where I vcan get the instructions to install it?

This is Netgear Support and the page for the Netgear WGR614 version 5,

http://kb.netgear.com/app/products/model/a_id/2587

1.Software you need:

Click on the Downloads tab.
Now click on the - WGR614v5 Firmware Version 1.09, in blue.

(I would bookmark this page. After you have installed the software, you need to come back, and download the Installation Guide. While installing the software, it is best to have your internet connection closed, and all windows closed. You will then be on your desktop screen.

If you do not have your downloads set to save to your My Documents folder, {Documents for Vista}, this download will go to your desktop screen.

When you see it, double-click right on the file name. The Installation Wizard will come up. Just click on Next, Next again, and Finish. Do not be concerned when it shows you where the file is going. It will be put in the correct place. Don't change it)

2.Documentation: (Instructions for installing)
Click on the Documentation tab.
The Installation Guide is listed at the top of the list

Not able to telnet to my home router (netgear WGR614V9)

You have to have telnet access enabled for all earlier revisions of wgr614. See : http://www.seattlewireless.net/index.cgi/NetgearWGR614#UnlockingtheTelnetCosole but bear in mind that v9 is not known officially to have a telnet CLI.

Cheers,

HOW TO MODIFY A CONFIGURED IOS COMMAND AT WORKING ROUTER

What type of router is it? Cisco, Netgear, Juniper?

It depends on who the manufacturer is of the device. Cisco you can either use a CLI to change the router rules table or you can use a GUI to make the changes. Most newer manufacturers have a built-in webpage for modifiying the commands. Although it is not the most efficient way to do it for those who are not very familiar with CLI it might be easier. To check to see if the device has a GUI, open a browser (I suggest IE, most compatible) and enter the IP address of the router into the address bar. If there is a GUI the page will open. Depending if you used a uername and password you might be prompted to enter it now.

Hope this helps you out. Cheers,

Keith
