No. The S700's lens does not come off. You can add some accessory lenses to the front, but it's not the same thing as swapping one lens for another.

Adding a lens to my camera

To be sure you can use the lens, buy a Canon EOS lens. The plastic ones, can be cheap. I bought my last lens 28 - 80 mm, couple of months ago, for 5 dollar. and a working EOS 500 was connected for the same price. (lens and camera are still in good working order) Don't try other brands, because even when you find a convertor, it could be the lens will only work on manual focus.

Lens mount fit

None directly. The T90 was the last Canon camera to use the older FD lenses. All newer Canon SLRs, film and digital, use the EF mount. However, by using an adapter such as http://www.rakuten.com/prod/adorama-canon-fd-lens-to-eos-body-adapter-with-correction-glass/216466533.html?listingId=120668308, you can use the old lenses on any Canon digital SLR.

I have a Pentax k1000, and was given a few vivitar and olypus lenses. They do not fit the camera. What can I do?????

Vivitar makes lenses with a variety of mounts. Lenses with the Pentax K-mount can be used on the K1000, lenses with other mounts can not.

Olympus lenses will not mount onto a Pentax camera.

You can sell the lenses, give them to someone with the appropriate camera(s), or use them as paperweights.

I'm looking to buy a Nikon F65 35mm film AF SLR Camera and I was unsure if you can use the lens from a Digital SLR?

Yes, as long as it's not a DX lens. DX lenses are designed for the smaller image area of some digital cameras and will cause vignetting (dark corners) on a 35mm camera. The vibration reduction feature of VR lenses won't work, but won't cause any problems.

DX lenses will fit and work, but as mentioned above, you will get dark corners.

What type of lens works with this Nikon N8008s AF 35mm SLR? Thank you, Larry

Any of the Nikon Auto Focus(AF) lenses should work fine with it. There are also a number of fine aftermarket lenses made for your 8008, by Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, Quantaray and others. Be sure you get the Nikon AF lenses, as they make the same lenses for Sony and Canon. You cannot use the Lenses made for another brand, as they will not fit, work right, and can damage your Nikon.

Trying to use a Phoenix 500mm telephoto lens and the shutter won't release

Some longer Tele lenses extend into the camera and prevent the mirror from moving up on some models with larger mirrors. One solution> get a 1.4 teleconverter It will add some space between camera and lens. Two solution> buy another Maxxum body on Ebay. Some Maxxums can be bought very cheap.

Will my olmpus lenses fit on a nikon n75 slr 35mm camera

Generally, the lenses used with the Olympus cameras will not be compatible with the Nikon cameras.

However, there are some converter adapters available in the market. You can look for the Olympus to Nikon converter adapters. These adapters will help you in using the Olympus lenses with the Nikon cameras.

Minolta 7000 SLR

The Konica-Minolta 5d, and 7d, both discontinued but available used on ebay and other places will work with your AF lenses, as well as all the sony alpha camera bodies. KM sold their camera business to sony, and most of the whole maxuum/alpha/dynax group of engineers went with the sale to Sony. I had a 7000, and an 8000i, and all my lenses are quite happy on the 7D I picked up a few months ago on ebay.
