Mp3 problems ok this is a two problem in one i guess well i got the samsung YP-MT6X and well i hit the play button and the thing turns on loads and well when it shows how much memory it has available it shuts off then keeps trying eventually it turns on then everything works except when im in option menu's and when i try to switch mp3 tracks it will turn off but the radio and stuff will work anyone help me MOST GRATEFUl.....Thanks in advance

I have had the same problem several times. Each time I needed to flash the firmware. Go to Samsung.com support > download center > type in the model number (yp-mt6) click on firmware, and download the version that corresponds with your device. install the firmware updater on your computer, plug in your device. and flash the firmware. (this will erase ALL songs and settings so you will want to back those up first). After that its like brand new. Kepe the updater handy, I fixed this the first time, and it kept reoccuring every few months.

then you have to push up or down really hard then mine is doin the same

Try connecting it to your computer and go to "My Computer" and right-click on the drive and click "format".

Will not always switch on and when it does switch on will not respond to control panel

you should reinstall your firmware for your player. Go to www.samsung.com, support and enter in the model of your player, select firmware and follow the directions. I had this same problem bu this seem to fix it. Good Luck

I had the exact same problem, Just upgraded firmware to 2.121 from the Samsung website. The player seems Ok now

restart your computer and use different port.

try deleting all songs and trying a different soft ware to copy music
