If your Nokia 6300 phone displays an error message saying "Invalid Sim (or) Sim Registration failed" then your phone is probably network locked.
You can unlock it easily by using an unlock code. You can get this code at reasonable cost from TheUnlockArena.com with easy step by step unlocking instructions and unlock it.Then you can use freely any GSM network Sim card.
Sim registration
failed problem occurs due to invalid IMEI NO. the only solution exist for this problem is to get new IMEI no. for new IMEI no. just walk into nearest nokia service center and ask them for new imei no.
You SIM card is inactive. You have to make at least 1 paid call every 6 months otherwise your sim is deactivated. If it's new sim has to be activated. Rate me if helped.Thanks.
(First: copy all contacts from the phone to SIM card)
1.Switch off the phone.
2. Press and hold the following three buttons:
Green(call answer) button, (*) button, (3) button.
3.Now press the switch on button.
4.Then the message 'Formatting" appears on the screen release all buttons. I hope this can assist you in the fix .
You might have filled up the memory to the brim and the phone doesn't have enough to switch on. Try reformat to original settings. anything you stored on the phone will be lost.
How to reformat your phone, first turn it OFF. Press* 3 sendat the same time and keep them pressed while you turn the phone on.
Give it time to work.
Remember, do not let go the 3 keys until you see the formatting screen. After a few minutes when the process is over, your Nokia N70 will be back to the original delivered system.
