I also got the error code E20 when the filter became totally blocked during the washing cycle (due to a pair of my son's old work jeans!). Once I cleaned out the filter everything worked ok again. Put a large bowl under the filter as you unscrew it; a fair amount of water could be there.

Hi, E20 is a draining error. Check the filter.You need to take the filter out, empty it of all lint and replace it. It may have water trapped in already, so get a cloth ready to soak up excess liquid! Also, make sure when you put it back in you have tightened it enough to avoid leaking but not too much that you cannot get it back out. If still the problem persists then the problem is with the draining pump.The pump is not pumping out the water.Check the pump impeller it may got stuck due to some obstacles.Replace it and this wont come again. E-20 error is for drain pump /filter blockage. Drain the pump manually.Clean it internally.The filter and drain pump are getting blocked in your machine.It needs to be cleaned.In some cases drain pump needs to be replaced if its cracked. This will help.

Check water "forreign object trap". It's under the lid at the bottom of the machine. First drain water by pulling out the hose and pull out the plug. Then unscrew the trap. Have had this E20 error twice. First it was two coins there, next it was a big paperclip. Have worked fine ever since.
