Do you hear any clicking when you try to start the oven portion of the range? if not lets try this, open the lower drawer so you can see the burner bar and mechanism for lighting the bake bar. as your watching the mechanism turn on the oven (nothing should happen as per your issue) while oven is on try lighting one of the top burners, any one will do wanna check if that lites the spark and in turn lites the oven pilot.if that does infact work you have a bad spark switch for the oven control

    I don't have a premier oven, I have a Bosch HGS30, will this solution work the same way? What if the oven pilot light doesn't work using this solution?

To light those pitots remove oven floor& access panel below the doors,for each oven will be a gas valve inside of the panel below the doors and has a red button. push that red button,light pilot inside of oven near the main burner,hold red button for 30 seconds and releas.Pilot should be on,repeat for other oven. If pilots go out after red button was held down for 30 seconds the part called the thermocoupler will need to be replaced

Gas ovens are fitted with at least one safety device and it could be it has failed.

The safety device is bypassed while the pilot light is lit. The pilot light heats a thermocouple bulb which switches the gas on to the burner. As long as the pilot light continues to heat the bulb gas will continue to flow - until the thermocouple fails, they aren't long-lasting...

I have an early 70's Magic Chef series VI oven/stove. The stove works fine. The oven takes about 30 minutes to light. When oven knob is turned pilot works fine. There is no gas odor before the oven lights.
My model is a UA119A-2W and I cannot find a place to light the oven pilot. Nor can I find a copy of the owner's manual anywhere online. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can't get pilot light to stay lite in oven
make sure the thermocouple is positioned above pilot light this part needs to be heated up by the pilot light to keep gas going to the pilot light. if the thermocouple is positioned above pilot light and it doesn't stay light, replace thermocouple.

Lighting a pilot light in a 30 year old roper gas range
Lift the top lid and look for a cylinder or something similar with tubing going into it there should be a button of some sort on the side. if you are lucky the button will have a red cap on it. press the button in and light the pilot inside the oven. hold the button for a minute or so until the pilot stays on. kind of like lighting a water heater.
