I put on a load of laundry, ran the machine, now can't unlock the door. usually there's a light showing the lock is on, and once the laundry is finished, you have to wait a couple of minutes, the light goes off, and the door unlocks. now, i wait, the light goes off, but the door stays locked.
Did you unplug it,leave it unplugged for 5 minutes and plug it back in,if it's to hard to get to plug flip the breaker and leave the power off for 5 minutes or longer when you power it up again the door should unlock.here's a link to check hope it helps

This is normal, the unit usually goes into a SD or slow down mode. To stop this press the start pause button and the door will unlock.

you will need to manually unlock the door... remove the top two screws in the back ..reach way down at the bottom of the door lock there is a pull down on the lock it will release the door... if your arms are not long enough use a bent coat hanger....once you have the door open .. remove the wire around the gasket .. remove outer gasket unscrew door lock. unplug wires and replace door lock...
hope it helps

Not sure if you're unable to open the door AFTER you stop the cycle. That may be normal operation as a safety measure (won't open until after your cycle has completed). However, if your model DOES allow for opening the door during cycle operations then your electronic door lock may be defective.

the actual door lock switch inside the wall of your washer where the door clips in has most likely burnt out or a piece has broken out of it i have found the only way to fix this problem is to replace the door lock switch
Testimonial: " I think your right. The problem is that I can't find a new door lock without going to the manufacturer and paying too much money which I can't afford"

Hi, Has all the water gone out of the machine? Try it on another spin cycle if it opens then the drain filter or pump could be blocked.
