Picture when i turn on my t.v. the picture is scrambled for about 20 minutes before it staighten`s out

This seems to be a recurring problem with this model. If you came across this page by searching for 'asus monitor scrambled picture' then you too must be suffering from this issue. Fortunately there are several youtube videos on how to disassemble the monitor and install a new board which can be purchased on ebay for around $23 from China or $50 from USA. If you are handy with a screwdriver this just might be the money saving solution for you.

tried first with re seating the lvds cable in the t-con board, the t-con board is mounted covered with metal shield. if can get with fixing the cable, then your t-con board has defective component parts.

You have a multitude of surface mounted capacitors that have to be changed on the DVM module which is part of the Light Engine Assembly. Mitsubishi's are notorious for this problem. Mits charges $300.00 to refurb the Light Engine Assembly , which is not a bad price.

o.k. check all your connections
if you have a newer house check to see if you have a main hub in a closet somewhere and check all connections. Check your hd receiver and you may be able to chage the DPI the receiver receives in.

I have this problem on some of my non HD channels, also. So much for going digital. I get fuzz and pixel problems "from time to time", but, if it is really bad and consistent your should call your service provider.

Things to ask also ? are you using cable or satellite.

If satellite T.V. there are other reasons you could be experiencing problems.

go in audio section and select mono instead of stereo or sap

sounds like a lcd controller card. Replace it

The TV has a bad board. It's called the Hyper board. It has been discontinued by Toshiba years ago so it is not an option to replace it. There are some TV repair shops that can rebuild this board by replacing most or all of the capacitors in it. You may want to call your local shop and see if they can do.

try alternative software like sage tv or beyond tv and it should fix your problem

on the signal board replace the caps by the 5/9 volt regulators. c2p04 is the main culprit. 6 caps in total can be changed. I believe c2p05 also.
