GE spectra xl44 - Oven not working, broiler & stove-top burners fine

Oven won't turn on. Top Burners & Broiler are fine. Pulled out warming draw (which we use for baking pan storage) and it appears a pan fell back and underneath the drawer and somehow knocked the red switch for the gas shut-off valve completely off. We've re-attached the red switch and flipped it to "on" but the oven still isn't working. When we turned the oven back on, there is no flame or glow or anything on the bottom burner. Any suggestions?

I have a two year old GE Gas slide-in range where the oven wont heat up but the broiler and stove-top burners do.

Same exact problem. Could it be the ignitor?

it seems the burner in the oven is clogged, by grease, carbon or corrosion, it may need replacing, specialy if this is an older unit

Lower oven burner will not light.

Hi I have a older GE that the oven won't light. It is a gas range that is electric ignited. The top burners do work but the oven will not light. Is it pricey to have this fixed?

Getting to the Pilot

Your model JGBP28DED2WH uses spark ignition on the stove top burners, and a glow bar ignitor, part number WB2X9154 for the oven and broiler. To get to the bake ignitor if oven will not light: Take the racks out of the oven. Remove oven floor by removing two screws at back of oven floor and lifting floor. Remove the square metal flame spreader to get to the burner / ignitor assembly. (note: The ignitor may still glow when you try it, but usually is still the problem)
