You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password and privileges. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. open safe mode by pressing F8... run the administrator profile and go to user accounts to change your password

i have problems with the augen genbook 10.2 inch screen android os 2.1 update 1. i think the hardware is cheap very cheap and the os has been stripped down, i have the samsung tranform by sprint and its a heck alot better than this thing, its good for basic stuff but not for wat ppl try to use them for like me, i expected greater, and the wifi card cuts in and out have to restart the device or the wifi to get the internet for 5 minutes, hardwire is required for everything, so this thing is so basic, i would rather run something else on it, its part linux so maybe theres a fix.

In some cases resetting certain passwords involves shorting out part of the motherboard; if not done correctly, you can fry it instead.

I have been working on PCs and compatible computers since 1985 and I still won't take that chance.
