Htc my screen is locked

first put in your simcard POWER ON your phone ...let the screen go off ...see if you are able to receive calls ..if yes then you need to change the flex cable or the LCD..if you are unable to receive calls then it means you need to put in a new software y upgrading

The only resolution or work around for that is by enabling a pin lock or a pattern lock for your phone
This can be accomplished by going to settings > location &security> setup screen lock
Please setup one and your phone wont dare to make that accidental call again .

I have an HTC Desire, I find that if I answer on the phone by touching the phone screen's answer button it answers in the phone :( But if I push the button on the bluetooth to answer it answers in the bluetooth - very annoying but appears to be an HTC issue not motorola's

locking your phone will help stop accidental dialling. if you don't lock your phone all you have to do is touch the screen and your ready to press buttons if you lock it then you have to unlock before you can press them, so in turn to acccidently call somebody it would have to unlock itself in your pocket.

To turn the phone off, you need to first get past the screen lock and get to the phone. Then you need to hold down the red end call button. Hold it down long enough to get a popup menu. The top option is "Power off". Select this and it will ask for a confirmation to shut off the phone.

The case doesn't have a magnet like the Blackberry, when you receive a text message the unit wakes up. I find this is when my TP2 starts opening internet and making calls etc! If you are having this problem a lot I would recommend using the screen lock. Have you also upgraded the ROM to Windows Mobile 6.5.1? This has a better slde-to-answer interface.

u can unlock the key lock with long press of call end button like 4 sec see if ti works otherwise

u can try factory reset the device like this but all data will be wiped off pls active sync ur device and backup ur data then try this

ENTER buttons, then press the RESET button with the stylus tip.
3. Release the RESET button, but continue pressing the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons until you see this message on the screen:

button to cancel the reset.

if it doesnt help then u can upgrade ur ROM from www.HTC.com and it will also solve ur problem

To lock the keys so you don't accidently activate the phone whilst carrying it about.
Press and hold down the "end call" button ( phone handset down picture) until Unlock shows at bottom left screen
To unlock, press the top left button, above the "start call" button (phone handset up picture), then press the * button (bottom left).
You get a screen prompt to press * to unlock
