Vtech model cs6329-2 change the day and date on the base

If you subscribe to caller ID service, the day, month and time are set automatically with each incoming call. You can also set the date and time manually. Press MENU when the handset is not in use. Scroll to select >SETTINGS, then press SELECT. Scroll to select >SET DATE/TIME, then press SELECT. Use the dialing keys (0-9) to enter the month, date and year, then press SELECT. Use the dialing keys (0-9) to enter the hour and minute. Press or to choose AM or PM, or press 2 for AM or 7 for PM. Press select to save.

Winnie, please visit the VTech site and download the manual for your phone. If your phone isn't listed, use the Support>Contact e-mail address to request one. The model number is found on a little sticker under the phone base unit. The manual has step by step instructions on how to do it.

Hi,

To cutoff ringer volume in Vtech cordless phones,you have to turn off the base ringer.
Handset:
program button->up/down" key to cycle until you see the Ringer selection->up/down" key(s) to cycle until the OFF selection
Base Ringer:
Menu->press menu until you hear "Base Ringer, to change base ringer press change"->PLAY/STOP button to save

Hi there, I found my manual that states:
Press MENU/SELECT to display menu when in idle mode.
Press the up or down triangles to reach DATE/TIME. Press MENU/SELECT.
Use the keypad to set the year. Press MENU/SELECT.
Use the keypad to set the date. Press MENU/SELECT,
Use the keypad to set the time. Press the up or down triangles to select a.m. or p.m. Press MENU/SELECT
The screen displays STORED and you'll hear a confirmation beep.

It should be in 'settings' on your cell phone menu. Search around your phone. It could also be in 'organizer'. On my old one, it was in 'organizer', and once I went there, there was a 'set date and time' button. Here is the answer from the Vtech website: "Make sure the answering system is on. Press [Time/Set]. The system will announce the current clock setting, then announce "to set date and time, Press Time/Set". Press [Time/Set]. Press [Change] until the system announces the correct day, then press [Time/Set]. Press [Change] until the system announces the correct hour, then press [Time/Set]. Press [Change] until lthe system announces the correct minutes, then press [Time/set]. The system announces the current clock setting. Note: You can press and hold [Change] to advance the mninutes in increments of ten. "

If the other three handsets work ok then you have a defective handset.
