SB Extigy won't even load the software on 64 bit Vista. I might be able to figure the driver issue out if it would just load the software. Anyone have a solution?

Same thing here but the Extigy software won't even load on 64 bit Vista. If I could get it to load I might be able to resolve the driver issue. Anyone got any ideas?

92 Alpha fifth wheel water problem. When I hook up fresh water hose to fresh water intake the water is pouring out of bottom of fresh water holding tank. I turned the valve on pump with same results. How can I get fresh water to go to pipes directly instead of in tank? Could it be a broken pipe under there somewhere?

    Thank you.

Have you loaded your touchpad drivers? The only time I've ever seen than happen is when the touchpad drivers aren't loaded. The touch is extra sensitive if your palm(s) just barely touch the pad.

By loading the touchpad drivers, you should be all set

I recently reinstalled my Vista OS on a Dell XPS m1330 laptop, and now I cannot connect to a second monitor, nor will the built-in speakers make sound. The only monitor option available in Display Settings...

You need to check the device manager for any "!" symbols. They are most likely there for your audio and video drivers. This means that the current drivers installed are not compatible. See below for the correct drivers.

How make work an extigy?

O.K., I solved this problem and got my SoundBlaster Extigy to work with Win 7 (64-bit machine). Here is what to do:

Easy part:
1. Search your system for the old USBAUDIO.sys driver:
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\wdma_usb.inf_9ce240de

2. Copy old USBAUDIO.sys, (d.02-11-2006) to usb or floppy

Trickypart :

3. Go to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers
Rightclick USBAUDIO.sys (d.19-04-2008)> Unlocker >Choose Delete

4. Copy old USBAUDIO.sys, (d.02-11-2006) from usb or floppy to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers

5. Reboot.

6. At reboot, Windows will block the Extigy from starting "because the manufacturer's software was known to cause problems." Go into Device Manager (Right click Start button, Click Control Panel, Click Hardware and Sound, Click Devices Manager (under Devices and Printers section). You should see the Sound Blaster Extigy listed under Sound, video and game controllers

7. Uninstall the Soundblaster Extigy in Device Manager (right click the device)...click Uninstall

8. Close Device Manager

9. Remove Extigy USB connector from laptop/computer for at least 10 secs. and Turn off Extigy, Sub-woofer, Speakers

10. Now reconnectthe USB,

11. Turn on Extigy, Sub-woofer, Speakers.....

12. Windows will now install the July 13 2009 device driver

13. Right click on Speaker icon in taskbar....Click Playback Devices...Extigy should appear in the window along with any other playback devices installed on your computer.

14. Click on Extigy...make it the Default Device

15. Then, disable the internal speakers (in my case it was RealTech) and any other playback devices.

16. Right click Extigy, select Test....it works!!

If you don't have the Nov 2, 2006 driver, email me and we'll figure out a way to get it to you.

Good luck!!

Dell XPS M1330 Laptop can't boot to windows, when running express test, got error code 0F00:137B when re-install the vista, it stop at "Expanding files (0%)" long time ...

if you bought this from dell, use the restore disks that came with it starting with disk one. you wont be able to save your files bt at least you will have a usable computer. i have an XPS studio 16 and had to do the same thing.
