Wharfedale IN120-1 How do I record my own answering machine message?

If your Phone service is recording messages, that disconnects your line. You need to have them turn that feature off, OR set the answering machine to answer is less rings, say two or three. If the FAX machine listens to the line, it can still be set at a higher amount of rings, say four, and should still answer any FAX signal as it's sent to the answering machine.

Follow the instructions in the second column of the first page of the manual.

Click icon under download....then save..remember where it saves it. Usually when the machine will not record messages there are only a few things that can be wrong....check the Telephone Answering Machine(TAM) section.

You might need to erase all the data and/or change to the correct mode for the phone to function properly. Obviously having the manual will help! :-)

Generally, Answering manchine have serveral function. Like . Record anoucement, record message, playback message, delete message, answer machine on or off, answer machine remote access. Normally , the key laid out is simular too.
