Sync is currently experiencing problems

When I tried adding a contact, i got this error message: "sync is currently experiencing problems".

What does this mean?

Any thoughts or ideas on how to fix this?

    I get the same message Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly. with a red exclamation mark. This is only on contacts and it has been for two days now.

    this has been going on since day two of having the phone .. it seems to be sync'ing the contacts just fine .. minus one little glitch .. it's not sync'd with the photos for some people .. the error will NOT go away and certain contacts are still without a photo .. yet some others sync the photo no problem

    It has been over four days with the same error. I tried all the above and it did not work. T-Mobile told me that it is a known error and except a factory reset, there is not current fix. Oh, they also do not guarantee that it will work

    I synced it first day I got it. Ever since then I've turned off my contacts sync. Today I tried to sync, and it hasn't worked. I tried doing it via 2G only, since I heard TMobile has 3G issues. Also doesn't work. Might need to go to wifi connection.

    My phone is having the same issue... Hopefully the removal of the battery and SIM card will fix it.

    I had this problem since I first got it. Something happened to the data on the phone I guess. I just wiped the phone and started from scratch and it hasn't happened since.

I had the same problem and resolved it next way. First backed up all my contacts on G1 with myBackup, then deleted all my contacts on Google from laptop. Autosync all the time was on, so all contacts was deleted from my G1 also. After that I restarted the phone, and restored my contacts with myBackup. When my G1 tried to sync it asked me what to do, because it have too many items to delete (from "All contacts" category on Google). I've chose "delete". You may try other choice. After few minutes I've had exact all my contacts from G1 on Google no less, no more, and no sync error. Remember: just in case, backup all your contacts on G1 or Google before deleting them, to prevent them from beeing lost!! Good luck.

Wipe the phone. This will take all contacts off the G1. Go thru the whole process of entering your login info again and the contacts will sync from Google. That did it for me.

I had the same problem and it lasted for saveral days until I took the battery and sim card out and reinstalled them. It then came back up sync.
That solved it for me.

What this means is Google is probably updating their sync / Gmail somewhere dwn the line. not a major problem, give it an hour or so and it should be Ok !

I'm having a Sync error message problem.

try removing your account... shutdown, re-add your account and it should work... sounds like a corrupt account on your droid.

Cannot center printhead to remove

A firmware update for your model addresses the printhead problem you're currently experiencing. Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark S300 Series Firmware Update. If more than one download is listed for your model, choose the first download in the list. If it is the wrong firmware level, an error message will tell you which firmware level is correct.
Should the error continue to display on the printer screen, it could be that the printhead itself is faulty. If that is the case, I highly recommend to contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

When i click on mail only box that appears is trash dont know where new mailbox has gone?

Try deleting your account and then adding it again.
You can do this by click on Settings from your homescreen, and then selecting Mail, Contacts, Calendars. From there, select the account with the issue, and then press Delete Account. This should take you back to the Mail, Contacts, Calendars menu, where you can add the account again. Doing this will not delete any of the messages from your account.

Make sure time-zone is the same for both iPhone and the computer.

On iPhone setting > Mail,Contacts,Calendars setting > Time Zone Support, make sure you are choosing the city where you are in.

Otherwise, make sure you have updated the iTunes to 7.5 or later.

Update to iTunes 7.5 or later to resolve this issue. If you're not able to update, continue reading for other options to resolve the issue.
Each Outlook calendar event has an internal property known as "Message Class." When some Outlook plug-ins are installed (such as Live Search Maps), the setting for the Message Class property can change from its default of "IPM.Appointment" to something else. iPhone and iPod touch are only able sync calendar events with the Message Class set to "IPM.Appointment," therefore any calendar events created after installing certain Outlook plugins may no longer sync.
To verify this, examine the property of the Calendar event items for MS Outlook and see if the Message Class shows something other than "IPM.Appointment" in any of the calendar events. To view the Message Class property for your Outlook Calendar events, add the Message Class field as one of the columns in the Current View using these steps:
  1. Open Outlook Calendar on the computer.
  2. Choose View > Current View > Events.
  3. For Windows Vista, choose View > Current View > Customize Current View.
    For Windows XP, choose View > Arrange By > Current View > Customize Current View.
  4. Click the Fields button and choose All Appointment fields from the pop-up menu in the "Select available fields from" section.
  5. In the "Available Fields" column, select "Message Class" and click the Add button.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK.
Now verify that all your calendar events are showing "IPM.Appointment" for the Message Class column. If you have calendar events showing a different value other than "IPM.Appointment" you will need to perform the following steps to fix the issue.
  1. Uninstall any Outlook plugins such as Live Search Maps or other plugins which change the default Message Class "IPM.Appointment" to some other value. Once the plugins have been removed, verify if those calendar events revert back to the Message Class of "IPM.Appointment" so that you can sync the calendar data to iPhone/iPod touch. If you are able to sync, try adding the plugins back one at a time and verify that you are still able to sync.
  2. If removing the Outlook plugins does not change the Message Class value for the calendar events, manually change the Message Class value of those calendar events to "IPM.Appointment." For more information on Message Class and how to change the Message Class fields/value, refer to Microsoft's KB article 201087 How to update existing items in an Outlook folder to use a new custom form

Error E3 on Mitsubishi HS-U795

Try this :
If your VCR malfunctions, try the following steps prior to contacting your Mitsubishi Dealer:
1 Check the Trouble Checks below to see if there is a solution to the current problem that you are
experiencing.
2 If the problem is not addressed on the Trouble Checks, the safety circuits in the VCR may be in
operation, thus please try the following: (the clock setting and the timer recording will be deleted.)
1 If possible, press EJECT on the front panel and remove the tape.
2 Press TIMER RESET on the rear panel with a pencil or a ball point pen.
3 If a tape is not loaded, press POWER to turn the power on. If a tape is loaded, wait about 1 minute
until the tape protecting function is completed, then press POWER.
3 You may also try the following procedure if the above steps did not resolve the problem (All settings will
be reset to the default settings.).
1 Press POWER on the front panel continuously for about 8 seconds until the current time display on
the front panel shows "- : - -."
2 If a tape is not loaded, press POWER to turn the power on. If a tape is loaded, the tape protecting
function will work and "99" will appear on the front panel display to begin count down. Wait about 1
minute until it reaches "00" to show the tape protecting function is completed, then press POWER.
If the problem with your VCR persists, contact your Mitsubishi dealer for assistance.

Unable to sync with Outlook

View/Folder in Outlook Open the Calendar Click on "GO" on top Toolbar. Click on "Folder List" Should show "Pocket Mirror" Folder ( Cant access it from Mail Folder. The instructions are unclear in the Palm Help.) Took me ages to find the above Even following the instructions by adding the Note in Pocket Mirror with the new handheld name I still get the same error as you and so GOOD LUCK!

Cannot hoysync with outlook 2003

After installing, reinstalling, deleting, hard resets, hitting head against wall... I tried installing the Pocket Mirror conduit as a last ditch effort. An error message popped up saying it could not find the mapi32.dll file. I looked at another PC, located that file in the windows32 directory, copied it to my PC, and I was able to hotsync with Outlook. To test this, I uninstalled the Pocket Mirror and Palm desktop SW, then deleted the mapi32.dll. Installed the Palm 4.1.4 sw, outlook 101 update, plus the conduit update, had same error messages. Added the mapi32.dll to the windows32 directory - was able to successfully sync with Outlook!
