take it to walmart and they replace for 5 total

Just take the watch to your nearest jeweler. They can quickly replace it for you....probably cheaper than what you would pay for the battery yourself.

Go to any local Jeweler and ask them to replace the battery, about $8

mcdevito75 here, It may be a 364 or a 377 It"s not so easy, many styles of Fossil watch out there.

Did you put the protective cover back over the battery? sounds like a grounding problem.
