Problem resetting Biometric fingerprint scanner Sony Vaio VGN-SZ360P

I had not experienced this issue as of yet. If you miss the warnings and the battery goes dead on you, the unit comes with a key that will open it manually. The fingerprint scanner of the Barska Biometric Safe is easy to set up. The advanced biometric technology used allows for up to 30 fingerprints to be stored. This means no memorizing combinations or fumbling around for keys whenever you are faced with a high danger situation. 2. You just install your scanner this year

3. You did not have biometric license installed on your computer, this license makes your scanner authenticated over the internet when you are visiting jamb website, if you are in Nigeria. It also comes with Jamb Biometrics Capture Software, .Net Framework, Java Framework and other software that will make your experience very simple after installing.
4. If, you have the license, then you did not supply the 16 digit security code for the scanner.

The way you out, you need BIOMETRIC LICENSE, if you are operating JAMB BUSINESS.

have you reinstalled the driver? if you reformatted the OS then all the drivers would have been deleted

Boy, a difficult question. Everyone will give you a different answer. I've found generic disks to be just fine, but many folks will tell you to go with a major brand. I must admit that I lean toward that.
So, you should safely be able to do a good job with Sony, HP, etc. Can't remember all the choices right off.
Like in all other areas, if you go with a brand you recognize and with a company that has been in business a long time and you trust, you hardly ever go wrong.
But be advised--just because the company name is on it doesn't mean they actually manufactured it!

The solution is as follows, which worked for me:

- Install Windows 7
- let it update all the drivers that it needs to
- Install additional Sony drivers that you need (XP drivers work just fine, but make sure to install them in Administrator mode, so, Run as Administrator), such as camera, fingerprint scanner, etc
- Install the Notebook Control Device Driver (without this the other software does nothing)
- Sony Utilities DLL
- Sony Shared Library

* restart computer *

- Sony Video Shared Library
- SUS (Setting Utility Series)

* restart computer *

- VES (VAIO Event Service)

After this one the Fn keys will start to work. The S1 and S2 keys don't work due to something to do with UAC (but I don't need them anyway)

- VAIO Control Centre (will allow you to change what the S1 and S2 keys do, even though you can't use them :) )

That's it and it worked for me.

You will need to have the person you bought it from,give the sign in password,and once signed in create a fingerprint file for yourself.
