What does error message F61 mean on Panasonic SC-AK25 Shelf System

My stereo turns off and displays F61. How do i fix it.

my CD Stereo System SA-AK18 turns off itself displaying f61 error, what does it means? how can I fix it, plz help me

STK-470-040 ic is blown and needs to be changed.

First re solder any dry joints on Transistors Q502, 504, 507, 515 & CN500, IC501. If there are no dry joins replace IC501 (STK470-0??) & maybe D501 (16.V) zener

The F61 message means that the system is blown. Try reading the manual to see more in depth what they say to do. Also, try unplugging the system, leave it sitting for about 5-10 minutes so the electricity will fade out of it, and disconnect anything going into it (IE speakers, inputs) anything that will disconnect, and then plug it all back in. But according to knowlage and research, it means its blown.

Try to power on the unit without the speakers connected. If it works normally without the error showing, then a speaker wire maybe shorted or a speaker defective. If the error F61 is still there, then most likely the Regulator IC is defective in the unit.

CHANGE STK --------IC

I had the same problem, and I had to replace the fan on the unit. The fan would not turn on at all, so the computer would tell the unit to turn itself off. After the fan was replaced (which is relatively simple) it works like new.

the problem is F61 is speaker protection mode on.
fault with your audio power amp section.
