Identify Model Number/ Chassis number to get service manuals/schematics. Faded with time from backside
What is its model number? its sony trinitron color tv purchased in 1982, autovolt system, speaker with tweeter, 0-29 channels (VHF,UHF, Auto Programming) Remote Control (RM 622). Need its Service manual. please help me out. u can email me directly to: [email protected] david

I would read the part number on the STR and using the gargler (google) get the data on it.
The service manual is the chassis number/type not the model number.
There is no way to identify the S/N from the model number only. The model number only indicates what features were included in that model. Hundreds or thousands of that model may have been made. Unless you have the purchase receipt that MAY have the s/n on it, you will either need to work harder to enhance and read the faded label or live with the fact that the serial number is unattainable.
You are in for a hard time getting it for free. Sony is one of the hardest to get manuals for. The cheapest I could find is Service-Manuals-Schematic.com 12.95. I quit long ago working on Sony because of this problem. Maybe a chance you will it on ebay.

You can just buy it from any Sony authorised service centers, or they will give you information about its availability. You just go to the nearest Sony service center for further information. Give them your TV sets model number, ot the remote model number. They can find the right one and give it to you. OK.
Red light blinking 4 times on Sony bravia TV.This is the problem of INVERTER BOARD.The inverter board has to be replaced.Every Sony bravia tv has a particular model number and the Inverter board part number depends on model number of the tv.

There are many possibilities like dry solder joints, weak capacitors, Horizontal transistor short or flyback transformer fried etc.
If you have little experience of TV repair and good solder skills and have necessary tools to test / check defective parts, then you can make it. you also need to have related service manual to see board location, schematics and part numbers.

I dont recognise that model number.
Take a look at the rear of set & see if there is a chassis number eg AE1. AE1A, AE1B, AE1C, AE2, AE2A, AE5, AE3B, BE2, BE2A,BE3, DE1, F1, FX,
These are some of the common older chassis.
You say led flashes does it flash 2, 3, 4, 5, times etc then pause then repeat ?
