Blinking Led power light

I have the Alpine MRP-M350 Amp hooked up to one 12inch JVC subwoofer. Lately I noticed on and off sound coming from the subwoofer. And just today I experienced no sound and I inspected the subwoofer and noticed the amp has a dimming and blinking blue Led light. I read some posts from this site and you said its in safe mode due to the transistors So what can I do from here or can anything be the problem? Thanks

I'm having the exact same problem the subs just stop working until I turn down the volume (lower and lower)....and now it just quit working altogether. It pounded my 2 alpine 12s for almost two years. Is this a common problem, and can it be fixed. I'd hate to throw it away.

Parked my car for a day. Went to drive it last night and the sub wouldn't kick in. The sub I have is a 12inch Rockford punch p1. I have a Alpine v-power mono power amplifier MRP-M350 pushing it. Well I...

Is it possible that you may have over driven the unit and blown either the power supply or output stages? Well, if the amp is getting power as you indicate the issue lies within the stages I just mentioned.

I have a Alpine MRP-M350 amp and then I have 2 10 Kicker Freair F10A Subwoofers. What's the best set up for this combo?

From the plus(+) of the speaker output on the amplifier run a cable to the plus(+) on the voice coil of the first subwoofer then follow thru with the same cable to the plus(+) of the other subwoofer.
From the minus(-) of the speaker output on the amplifier, run a cale to the minus(-) of the first subwoofer then follow thru with the same cable to the minus(-) of the other subwoofer.
This will make your amplifier run @ 2OHMS and provide you with 350 Watt RMS which will work fine even if you run your subwooffers free air(without a box))
hope this helps

I have two 12 inch infinity 1250w subwoofers. Will my alpine v-power mrp-m350 amplifier power the subwoofers effectively?

You dont specify the model or RMS power of the subwoofers so i am not sure if that power is RMS or maximum.
If it is RMS, then a BiG no would be the answer. Even though the MRP-M350 will drive the subwoofers and will give you a fair sound as well, it not drive both of them effectivley. After all it's only 350WATT (the amp)RMS trying to push a 2500 RMS (the subs) target, so do the maths, is that a fair fight?
hope this helps.

I haw alpine mrp-m350 amplifier how many sub can i

Hook up the MRP-M350 to one 4-ohm sub, and you get 200 watts RMS; connect a second 4-ohm subwoofer and the power output increases to 350 watts! All that juice means that your subs won't just be loud, they'll sound clean and thumping.

No power to the amp

hi there
its up to you the remote wire is just another power wire.....the remote wire can be by passed but every time you turn off your car you will need to unhook the 12v amp power wire from your cars battery (if you decide to do it this way)..........or you can hook up the blue wire from the back of your CD/DVD unit what ever you are using and every time your stereo turns off your amp will too..........
hope this has helped

No sound from subs.

http://www.pac-audio.com/instructions/C2A-GM24.pdf

Sounds like you have the Remote turn on hooked to constant 12V instead of a switched power.
The Blue/White wire off the module should go directly to the amplifier remote terminal.
If this has a constant 12V when the key is off, the module is defective and needs to be repaired/returned.

Alpine MRP-M350 amp intermittently turns off

Could be your speakers are breaking down inside and shorting out. Measure the ohms of the speakere with them unhooked form the amp. They should be about what the manufacturor rated them at. (useually 4 ohms). If they are failing, the number will be lower. They may also short when power is applied- and that wont show with the meter test.

Try different subs.

its prolly the deck, did you try turning the alpine's input gain controls up...

its not the wiring, if the wiring was insuficient, it would just melt...

you might also see if you could adjust the bass frequencies or crossover frequency, the crv might just have a different resonant frequency then the rav 4

Alpine mrp-350 amp

1) If you bridge on a non bridged amp your sound will be horrible as they sine waves comming out of the two teminals will be different... I suggest removing the bridge. 2) The gain knob is to adjust when the amp will reach its max volume with respect to the sterio;s volume. 3) the LP filter is a Low Pass filter and its purpose is to eliminate the higher frequencies that do not sound all the well when played over subwoofers.
